I'm a 19 year old sophomore in college and apparently I dont look my age. For instance, today i went to the eye doctor and when the lady called my name she asked if I was with somebody. I mean i was with my mom , but still. Ive been told I look really young since I was like 15...it's so frustrating! Its not like im short or anything...im like 5'5...*sigh*

tbh i don't think its a big deal. a lot of people in college still look like they're in high school. i look the exact same as i did in high school (i'm a 19 year old sophmore in college as well). people usually tell me i look 16 although i have gotten as young as 13 before, rarely do people tell me i look older. its actually kinda nice :)

Just turned mid 20s but even still I get asked for ID when attempting to buy 18 DVDs (not those types of DVDs lol), games or movie tickets (I wasn't allowed to buy GTA5 the first time as I had no ID on me but my friend was allowed without even being asked even though he's the same age as me lol).

I'm 28 and the cashiers ask for my ID every time I buy alcohol which means they think I look at least 11 years (!) younger than my real age. :unimpressed:

In Ohio you get IDed every time if you look under 40. I get IDed all the time, but I think I look my age.

Well, in my country, they only ask for your ID if they think you're younger than 18 so I must look younger than that. I don't care much about them asking for my ID, but I hate when they accuse me of using someone else's ID, telling me it's not possible that I'm 28. They keep asking me "Are you sure this is you? Are you sure you're not using your older sister's ID?" Ugh. This is so annoying! And every time this happens I worry that they might call the police on me trying to prove that it's a fake ID. That would be so humiliating even though I know it's real.

Gosh that would be annoying!

But eventually you will love your youthful looks :) I always looked older than my age as a teen, thankfully by time I was 18 or so I started to look my age rather than older. TBH, I get told I look younger than 26 by a lot of people, but I think that's just because people in the US tend to look...older. I don't know if its styling, or the effects of tanning so much, or diet....but I personally think I look 26, its just that a lot of people around me look older than their age, lol.
