Oh my gosh how do you unsend a text message? Is it possible? I sent a regrettable text.

Okay so I have this coworker who has a crush on me. I gave him my number a while back because he is nice enough. He texted me hey and I responded back with hey. Then I wanted to see auto correct suggestions on my phone (I was still on the message to my coworker) I decided to type in "K" and laughed when my phone suggested that I type in "KinkySanta" as the first result (probably because I log on through mobile a lot). Instead of clicking backspace I pressed send. So my response of "hey" was quickly followed up by me just adding in "KinkySanta". 

I heard a rumor that if you put it in airplane mode right away and then delete the message it unsends, but I'm not sure if it's true. I tried it and the coworker has yet to respond. Does it actually work you guys? I don't want the coworker with a crush on me to think that I randomly am calling him KinkySanta now.

 

update: Coworker responded as if I never randomly said KinkySanta. Wonder if that airplane mode thing worked..

Just tell him it was a mistake. 

It happens, it's not that big of a deal. You didn't confess to him or anything. 

 

Why is honesty so scary to some people??? 

sorry, I'm kinda venting my own boy drama right now. 

 

For the future CHOMP SMS has a feature where you can delay the sending of your text messages so you make less auto-correct errors.

Damn girl, you're making a bigger deal out of this than it has to be. I've been in a couple of awkward and embarrassing situations like this a couple of times. LMAO!

 

What I'd suggest to make life easier for you: Text him back with, "lol sorry, I wanted to reply 'K' to you, but my autocorrect suggested otherwise. KinkySanta is just a silly username of mine xDDD Don't judge me please". 

 

I literally respond in a similar manner, it's not the end of the world and not that embarrassing where you can't tell him what's actually up. I doubt he would care enough to google "KinkySanta" and if he does, he probably WON'T find any incriminating evidence against you. The worst you will probably get is him finding it amusing and seeing that you have a different kind of sense of humor. 

 

We tend to see ourselves being in a far worse situation than we actually are in. Trust me, this is nothing. Nothing.

Does he know you like k-pop?

 

Because I just googled "kinkysanta kpop" and found the links to your posts in OH...   :derp:

 

 

 In this case tho....I did the same thing....as far as what the first search result yielded, I'm crying right now. LMMFAO!
