ohsolively 5,219 Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 it's expected that the sales would have been affected by the incident, but i'm glad that things have picked up again. overall it looks like they will end up selling the same on hnateo (holler would have probably sold a little more). we need gaon sales to make a better comparison. overall the sales are great imo especially considering they managed to sustain their sales and not drop like most tend to do. that's even before accounting for the fact that they are a subunit. it may just feel underwhelming because holler song was not as popular as twinkle. How is it possible; didn't they have about a couple of weeks of good sales(after September month charting) before Jessica's leaving would have affected it? Considering older albums than Holler by lesser known groups were still charting in the top10 (e.g. BTS Dark & Wild #9 with 14k+ sales); I'm really astounded that Holler wasn't even there. October's sells has been then totally affected by the news. Holler still manage to sell 3,878 copies after that. It's already good. It make the total sells 80,000+ by now. 24 Holler 소녀시대-태티서 (Girls` Generation-TTS) 3,878 / 80,398 For some reason I thought she left in middle October But wow that was such a big impact on sales; they managed to rebound on Hanteo so why not on Gaon. Overall their sales are obviously great (for a GG and especially for a sub-unit) but it's sad knowing that they would have done much more (100K atleast) if things hadn't happened. With Only U mv their sales should pick up; if they can sell 5k each for the next couple of months then I think 90K+(& 100k) is doable. I can't when I read TTS this, TTS thas, whenever TTS has a comeback, everytime TTS has a comeback... Sorry but what? "Whenever"? "everytime"? As far as I know TTS cameback only once and only with a mini. Reading all this I would think they are releasing album every year, every month... Rant end Lol mte but that's how it is when people feel like their bias isn't being given the spotlight - they just find someone to blame. But I find it weird how it's always TTS, but never Yoona even though she's the most promoted from the group lol. I see it mainly come from SHY worshippers (and Taeny haters) who I guess are mad that SM still hasn't debued them as a subunit yet. It's not going to change anytime soon though. They are always asking for more lines for the others, but lbr aside from them the rest really aren't up to par. Is there a new one you would like me to add? And do you have any other suggestions? Great. Maybe a poll about the type of song/concept we would like them to do. Yes we know it's a winter/xmas themed song but there are still different types of concept they could be doing. I'm hoping it's not too Xmas themed though (specifically Xmas related). I would prefer something winter themed which can be played all year round like EXO's Miracle In December which isn't limited to just Xmas time.
