As of this post, Chaekyung is sitting solidly at #13 with consistently one of the highest rates of increase among all the contestants!

And she has climbed one more position to #12! Almost in the top 11!

Having said that though, it's gonna be a tough fight to chase the #11, who is currently 0.39% ahead of Chaekyung (that's = 468 votes because once above 20%, 12 votes = 0.01%)

 

So the moral of the story is, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE EVERY DAY

She has had very good rate of increase the past few days, much higher than the girls in front of her, and is almost catching up with #10 now!

She has slowed down a lot from the previous few days while her main rivals have close to double her rates, and she just lost 10th place to Hwang In Sun (as of right now) and is being threatened from the back by Shin Hye Hyeon and others.. 

Did all the DSP supporters take a break yesterday?

By the way, the "once every 24 hours" rule is based on the time that you voted, not calendar date. Eg. If you vote at 12.00noon today, you'll be able to vote again at 12.00noon tomorrow. So the way to cast maximum votes is to vote at the same time every day. Make it a morning ritual or the last thing you do before going to sleep.

Even though her and Shiyoon's rates for the Item Support Event have been super consistent, they're much lower than some others like Kang Mina and Heo Chanmi, and Chaekyung is the most vulnerable near the bottom of the top 11. She could be overtaken in a few days if this continues!

Yep I read the thread again, and no one leaked anything, I misunderstood, it was an ironic thread, he was pointing out as an easy victory to them because Somi, so, Chaekyung team was probably the winner

I always call her the sleepy eyes girl in my head whenever she appears in the show but when she performs she looks wide awake, I'm going to start voting for her

Agreed, but this show is still very much focused on the Korean market.

 

I can read hangul, but i've found that this helps me a lot: 

 

- go to the Produce 101 contestants Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Produce_101_contestants

- use Ctrl+F to search for their romanized names or company names in English, then copy the hangul names included

- on the voting page, Ctrl+F and paste the hangul names.

I think there are little details we don't know about, like for example maybe in their Produce 101 contracts, it says that if the contestants incur any costs (like damage to Mnet property), the company will compensate Mnet for it. So the girls may or may not have to pay money in the end, depending on whether the girl was at fault, or if it was an accident etc. (and how kind the company is towards her)

 

So knowing this, the Mnet staff (who would likely be fired or made to repay the cost in a real situation) could beg the contestant to say she did it, so that her company would pay Mnet instead. The girls who chose to help were taking a huge personal risk, and the key moment would be when she is calling up her company to report the damage, not knowing how her managers will respond, or if she would be held responsible.

Then around the age of 15 sometime in 2011, she joined DSP Media as a trainee

 

 

In 2012, she joined a group called Puretty, and they had a semi-debut in Japan, releasing 2 promotional tracks for an anime called Pretty Rhythm (with plans for a full debut in Korea & Japan later)

Unfortunately, DSP seemed not to know what to do with them, and after languishing for a year, they were disbanded in early 2014 due to difficult circumstances in the company.

 

Not one to give up on her dream so easily, Chaekyung then became a contestant in Kara Project, a survival show to select a new member for DSP seniors Kara

Alas! She did not win a spot in Kara and went back to trainee life once again. Ever the loyal person she is, she stayed with DSP Media

The next year 2015, DSP announced they were debuting a new girl group, and fans were sure that the remaining Baby Kara members would all be in it. But by another cruel twist of fate, Chaekyung did not fit the group's concept and was passed over.

 

Not long after, another opportunity presented itself: Produce 101! 

 

 

Representing DSP, she has been fighting hard for her well-deserved chance to debut
