[NEWS/PHOTO] 131112 Lee Kwang Soo to Dub for “Dinosaur Aventures 3D†Movie Character

 

On November 11, 20th century Fox Korea, the distributing company for movie“Dinosaur Adventure 3D,†announced, “Lee Kwang Soo has been cast as the actor to dub for the main character Patchi.â€

 

The movie “Dinosaur Adventure†takes place 70 million years ago in Alaska, where a small dinosaur named Patchi, who must gather the courage to heroically lead his herd through various obstacles placed by mother nature. Patchi is the smallest and weakest dinosaur among his brothers, who survives a tragedy to become the biggest hero for his herd. 

 

Lee Kwang Soo showed enthusiasm for his role saying, “It’ll be a new challenge to play the role of a dinosaur, so I think it will be really fun. I can’t wait for the finished product after all the voice dubbing is completed since the scale of the movie production is large and the movie carries much emotion.†

 

“Dinosaur Adventure 3D†is also known by its other title “Walking With Dinosaurs 3D†and will hit theaters in Korea on December 19.

Kim Shin Ee, vocalist from indie band Monni, shares a photo taken during a casual dinner with his friends who are rather familiar to anyone who’s been in the K-Pop world for some time.

 

On November 20, he tweeted a photo and included the message, “Thanks to Jang Hyuk hyung, Su Ro hyung, In Sung, Kwang Soo for the pleasant meeting and round of beer!! I was quite nervous having to act in front of these great actors.â€

 

In the photo, the star of the night is hovering in the middle while his hyungs Jang Hyuk and Kim Su Ro shows off their pearly whites while the youngsters Jo In Sung and Lee Kwang Soo maximize on their cuteness with victory signs.

 

Kim Shin Ee is currently taking on the role of Michael in the musical “Murder Ballad.â€

[NEWS] 131211 Ji Sung, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Kwang Soo Starring in New Noir Movie “Good Friendsâ€

 

 

Opus Pictures, the production company that made “Snow Piercer†(2013) and “The Man From Nowhere†(2010), has a new movie starring Ji Sung, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Kwang Soo, called “Good Friends.â€

 

“Good Friends†is a noir movie about three friends who get in destructive conflicts with each other, their friendship gradually getting twisted following a murder case. In charge of the screenplay and direction of the movie, rookie director Lee Do Yoon plans to portray the cold-hearted reality of getting caught up in and not being able to escape a vicious cycle.

 

With the combination of actors Ji Sung, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Kwang Soo, each with very different characters and personalities, anticipation for the movie is high. Ji Sung, who recently appeared in the hit drama “Secret,†plays the role of Hyun Tae, an ambulance worker with a young daughter and a strong sense of justice. A cold and rational doctor onMBC’s “Medical Top Team†and a cunning webtoon writer in the movie “Marriage Blue,†Joo Ji Hoon plays In Chul, a base but charismatic con-man who skillfully swallows up an insurance company. Finally, Lee Kwang Soo is starring in his first main role of Min Soo, who has a small business and relies on his two friends like family.

 

“Good Friends†is currently in preparations to start filming in January of 2014. Stay tuned to see just how the friendship between these three actors unravels.

“Running Man†entertainer and actor Lee Kwang Soo, recently expressed his gratitude and surprise for the fans he meet in Singapore while promoting, “Dinosaur Adventure 3D†while being interviewed on the december 8 broadcast of “Section TV Entertainment News.“ 

 

The actor talked about a fan meeting he recently returned from on a trip to Southeast Asia. He said, “They saw me and screamed, ‘Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Kwang Soo.’ I was extremely surprised at the great response I received there.†

 

He also revealed that he practiced  â€Because I love You†over and over again for his live performance for his fan meeting in Singapore. 

 

For the year 2014, the beloved giraffe expressed his wish to find a girlfriend. He described his ideal as, “cute and someone who laughs easily.†

 

In related news, Lee Kwang Soo is the voice actor behind Patchi, the main character of animated film, “Dinosaur Adventure 3D,†which will hit theaters on December 19.

On December 18, popular entertainer and actor Lee Kwang Soo met with fans at a special VIP premiere of his latest animated film, “Dinosaur Adventure 3D.†

 

“Dinosaur Adventure 3D†is actually a CGI animated film based off of the original family film, “Walking with Dinosaurs†that was released on December 14 this year in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The story is based on a Pachyrhinosaurus named Patchi, whose voice is dubbed by Lee Kwang Soo, and how he overcomes various challenging obstacles to lead his herd and become a hero. 

 

Academy award-winning director of “Avatar,â€James Cameron supplied his 3D filmmaking expertise to the BBC film as well. The script was written by John Collee, who wrote both “Happy Feet†and “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.†

 

The film is scheduled to hit theaters in Korea on December 19.
