Songs that grow on you...what are some of your favs?

Recently everyone(including me) has been talking about the infamy of  Exo Wolf, and i'm afraid to say it's finally grown on me.
I actually really like the song...

I think this happens quite often (at least for me), you hear a song and you hate it so much you can't even get through it...and then you listen again and think 'it's okay'...and finally you can't stop thinking about it.

My current top three "Songs that grew" are...

Exo: Wolf  (I'm really surprised with how much I currently like this song)

Henry: Trap (I didn't like this song at all, and then I randomly started hearing Henry's voice in my head at night...and was trapped..)

Girls Day: Expect/Expectation (I hated everything about this song...their voices...the dancing... and now I literally can not get enough.)

SHINee's Dream Girl. I just suddenly love it.

APink Hush. I watched it a while ago and didn't like it, re-watched it and suddenly I can't get it out of my head.

DBSK Keep your head down. was weirded out at first, but learned to like it.

I'm not sure if I actually like Wolf or if I simply became used to it, but it's a tug of war. Part of me knows I should feel sick and stop listing to it, as I still have lingering feelings of "This song is awful and Exo deserved better.", but the other part is falling into its tribal sound (and high notes). What's making it more bearable is the image it brings. I picture a large pale moon hovering over a dense and dark forest, as scraggly barefooted people dance crazily around stones, as if they're calling upon some ancient Wolf god. I'm submerged in this image for the entirety of the song, and every once in a while Exo will appear with sinister face paint and black eyes to preform a very animalistic routine. Dare I say it, but Wolf gave me life. I can no longer call it an abomination because any song that gives me life is a decent to amazing song. I now say that Wolf is average. Wolf is an average song; words I never thought I'd say. (I still don't think it should have been the lead single.)

A song like Wolf makes me think "wow...Exo is really talented", to make a song with howling and the weirdest "I love you " ever, bearable is an amazing feat.

Also the fact that they looked really really good in the music video helps a lot.

Didn't care much for First Love by After School but I've grown to understand and appreciate the subtle nuances of the record. It's quite a mature and sensual work that showcases their vocal work and the emotional context of the lyrics. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't care much for the record when it was released because it has since captivated and mesmerized me on various occasions. Wouldn't have expected First Love to end up being my favorite release of this year outside of All Day I Think About You by 2pm.

Songs that grew on me:

B2ST's Fiction

Miss A's Touch and Goodbye Baby

EXID's I Feel Good

Sistar19's GNAAL

SHINee's Why So Serious ( well actually, I still don't care for it, but I can make it through the whole song)

Henry's Trap (after lowering the pitch)
