why do you think yeeun's album and most importantly the title track not doing well even though the album is really damn good and the title track is probably the best from a female solo this year(sorry sunmi)???........it would probably make into my top 3 albums of the year (sorry have to replace rise for that)

one of the reason is why i think it's not doing well is because it does not exactly sound like mainstream kpop and has a more alternative feel to it,i heard influences from western artists like lykke li,lana del rey and even natalia kills

I think there are 2 reasons

  1. While the album is great it's not exactly public friendly, the public wants the same stuff they know to be rehashed
  2. Ye eun is using her composer name HA:TFELT to promote which to the general public is an unknown name decreasing the buzz around this album.

I'd say reason 1 is the primary reason it's not doing well while reason number 2 worsens the effect.

1. JYPE

2. It's not typical kpop

I say these reasons are all possible

I was turned off by the choice of her solo stage name Ha:tfelt.  To be honest, it's difficult for me to look past it.  Call me shallow.

As for the music:  It's quality stuff, but I have to listen to her album in whole and at least twice to see if anything grabs me.

I have listened to 3-4 songs from the album now and it's well-made but I don't feel the pull.

Might be because Ain't Nobody lacks the usual pop sound people are familiar with. I see this coming since K-fans are into repetitive pop songs that are trashy most of the times. As a fan who doesn't invest any more than buying her album, it might be easy for me to say this, but I'm very satisfied with the album and I'm glad she stays close to quality music
