Jiwon joining YG, I hope this means his solo album that was put on hold due to Sechskies reunion is coming soon hurrplz.png

 

He'll definitely grow into a bigger star with YG's resources and support~

SECHSKIES member Eun Ji Won has signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment!

 

On August 16, a source from YG confirmed the news, saying, “We’ve decided to become the management agency of Eun Ji Won.â€

 

It was further reported that Eun Ji Won naturally came to sign with YG Entertainment after the agency had managed SECHSKIES’s latest comeback activities.

 

Meanwhile, Eun Ji Won is currently appearing in the variety show “New Journey to the West 4.â€

I read the google translation that jiwon is participated in their new album so meaning he will be one of the producer or writing the lyrics?

Eun Ji Won is currently engaged in the work of the new song. In this regard, a YG official said, "Recently, the members of Jecskis are working on new albums.

 

I think it means they're working on the new songs, not sure if they are INVOLVED in writing/composing/producing, but I do hope they will write their own songs again like how they did back then~

 

But again, they have not just once but many times, mentioned that YG has all the resources to produce great music, they need not involve themselves. rlytearpls.png

but  another positive thing, now he can focus on  sechskies and his solo activity without worrying to manage the company that gave him so much stress ,he said it in one of his interview last year .. how he struggled to manage gym ent .. 

 

and as for gilme ... she was no longer in gym ent since last year (?)..

Its bitter-sweet for me, mixed feelings...

Good thing is, he is less burden now, I hope his health got better~ Besides, YG has all the resources and always support their artists, I hope he will continue the solo album (that was put on halt earlier because of Jekki's reunion) after concluding Jekki's 20th anniversary activities. Good music, great collabs, Jiwon is coming~

But I'm a little worried at the same time... YG better don't pull him out from varieties... He has his own colours, which I hope he can maintain under YG's dictatorship. He is a veteran, I trust he has his own say on things he likes and wants to do.

 

I'm also glad that him joining YG is well received by knetizens~ read many positive comments about it~

I am sure YG  will get more new variety shows for eun leader .. since he is master of variety ... 

 

as I know, Gilme was no longer with gym ent since last year, when gym ent has merged with hywy ent .. I remember when gilme as a guest in KOMS, jiwon as panelist, jiwon said that he feel so regretful couldn't help gilme outshining her music career when she was under him .. and his expression was so sad ..  Though gilme and mr typhoon not under gym anymore , the friendship between the three is still strong ... very agree eun jiwon really need a close friend ..

yeah, feeling sad here, but I admire his courage to do that. How much resolve must he have to close down his company? 

I can't help but be reminded of his decision to move from idol to hiphop, how he had to face so much resistance and make the hard choice. That's our Eun leader!

yeah! I can't wait! 

actually, I haven't even finished watching Plan man yet....

but NJTTW is gold. Jiwon has a lot of air time in the final episode. That editing part with Jiwon sitting in fast food chain with the headgear on while waiting for Jaehyun is hilarious (caption: What am doing? Why am I here?) lol.

Anyone watching Infinity Challenge? Check out the most recent episode 545. Our Eun Jiwon's having a Street Fighter showdown with one of the IC members. It's really intense, lol. And I love seeing Jiwon with minimal makeup. Jaeduc makes an appearance too.
