Q: Your song consistently says find a way to be happy. How does Red Velvet find happiness?

Joy: I find happiness through eating. I’m happy whenever I’m eating something with the members. I don’t care if it’s bread, meat, noodles or whatever kind of food.

 

Q: What will you do if there is just one single day you can use freely? We can know about one’s likings from what they do when they rest.

Joy: I will go to the movies and watch 4DX movies. That is what I found as an alternative for not being able to go to an amusement park. I almost died of fun when I watched <TRANSFORMERS> in 4DX.

Joy: It hasn’t been long since we debuted but people are giving us so much love. When I heard about our ranks on music sites, it was so unexpected that I didn’t believe it. We have to work hard with a thankful heart.

 

Red Velvet: We dream't to be singers as we watched other people too. We also want to be someone’s dream. We want to be artists like the seniors in our company who introduces K-pop to people and get to influence the whole world. We are also aiming to be singers who give bright and good energy to people.

Irene, Joy & Wendy: No.

 

Joy: Irene unnie and I weren't able to sleep before our debut. We were very nervous so we were just sitting down.

 

DJ: How did you feel when you became a team?

Joy: When we first performed, I didn't know that we have to look at the camera so I looked at it only like...once? Haha

 

DJ: After debut which 3 celebrities looked better off the camera that surprised you?

 

Joy: Mine was Yeeun. I couldn’t get a good look at other sunbaenim because I was so  busy bowing saying hello on my first broadcast. And then there was a scene from the waiting room YeEun sunbaenim sat right next to me. She was a bit in front of me and I sneaked a peek like this. She looked like a doll. I was so surprised. It is still vivid in my eyes.

 

Joy 

- Joy feels that she's most beautiful when she takes a selca then she adjusts the brightness to make it brighter xD

- Joy was only able to do jumping rope once when she was in elementary so she cried. But she practiced so she's good at it now.

Joy cried the most when:

Joy was so lovely this ep^ very outgoing and well spoken. She wasn't particularity afraid of expressing herself despite being a shy girl in general, really adore that. I guess her years of performing and acting in school festivals really shows in the way shes able to adapt comfortably to the camera. 

 

I have high hopes for her in the future~
