Yeah, my mom and dad were together and they were going to marry anyway but they had to rush the wedding cause I was on the way. My mom had to give up on following her studies too   But she went to an university after some years so it's all good now   I'm still sorry for my parents though cause they were so young when they had me...but that's what not using protection brings you.

I remember one day my best friend texted me, telling me she had just found out she was an accident. I thought it was hilarious, because she has an adopted older brother and parents were both in their 40's when they had her, she was obviously not planned. As I thought it was funny, I went to show my mom this text message.

 

My mom, straight-faced, read this message, looked at me, and said "so were you" and then continued making dinner.

I have strong suspicions that I was considering my parents' young age when they got married, but they insist it was all intentional. even though two 21 year olds getting married in 1985 and then having a kid in 1987 despite having no jobs or money at all seems not that smart, when I ask them why they did it they just say, "dunno, we were bored" and that's all, lol
