If a plane is not 500% ready and safe to fly they should keep checking and fixing until it is, unless I'm missing some crucial info about this . This just causes fear and paranoia. Condolences to the lost loved ones.

RIP to all the lost ones. My condolences to their friends and family.

News of plane crashes is really not making me feel good considering I'm flying on Monday.

Does it say why they were making the emergency landing? I wonder if it had something to do with the typhoon. Either way, I hope that the those who were injured will recover quickly and that the family of those who did not survive will be at peace. This is awful.

RIP...

When I read the title I thought the plane had made a landing on some street or something and killed dozens in the process. SMH.

More than likely it played a huge part in the crash

Unbelievably, this was the radar near the time of the crash of this plane in Taiwan.

And the agency wasn't any better. From Buzzfeed:

TransAsia Airways latest Facebook post advised travelers not to be afraid of the typhoon.

Who in their right mind would tell people it's ok to fly a airplane in the middle of a typhoon?!

Those poor people on the plane and on the ground. :._.:

This infuriates me then. I will certainly not be using TransAsia anytime soon then. Even though people should indeed know not to fly during a typhoon, they should also be able to trust professionals to not risk their life.

This just upsets me because it could have been avoided. We let students out of school because it is too dangerous for them to get to school but we still send airplanes into the sky? This is frustrating.
