Not really... I simply don't think he can carry songs all by himself. His solo songs are rather boring/meh. His Act Like Nothing's Wrong performance @ Big Show 2010 was amazing but his performance made the song great, the song itself isn't..

Maybe 4 years ago I would've liked a TOP solo album but he has become extremely lazy with his rapping and performances. It's like he stopped being a rapper after GD&TOP and turned into an actor that doesn't want to rap anymore. Don't even get me started on his 'singing'.  :omgwtf:

I beg to differ. Oh mom is one of my most favorite songs ever. Act Like Nothing's Wrong and Of All Days are also very good. As long as it's not an all-rap-song like Turn it up, I actually think he can pull it off.

well this i can agree with

his raps are lazy as hell and he doesnt seem interested much nowadays. though he seemed to have a lot of fun while touring last year ~

In my opinion, if TOP was ever going to have a solo album, it would've been circa GD&TOP era, not now.

 

It's not like TOP doesn't have the full package though, because he does. I've always wondered why he doesn't have a solo I mean even Seungri does.

TOP doesn't have the full package. His performances are meh and only work because he occasionally performs a song.

That's true, he's a bit stiff. But that could be worked on. It's not enough to explain the loss of potential profit YG had for never giving him a solo XD He's very popular.

that'd be true if he wanted to work on it

and people dont have solos given to them in bigbang, you need to want it first

he's just not really interested

I would like one just because there are some solo songs of his that I really love (Of All Days will remain in my top favorites for any song, tbh, and even my boyfriend likes it and he doesn't listen to k-music whatsoever), and there was as time where I was just dying to have one. But I think at this point if he doesn't have one, I wouldn't be disappointed any longer. If he does end up doing one, I'd still listen to it and really hope to find some gems that I love from the album (and hopefully not any like Turn it Up).
