Welcome to the fourth and last round-up of Radio.

As previously said, by the end of each week a host will endeavour to respond to questions and answers made during that week. Occasionally you might come across trivial rants on topics. I hope you enjoy today's session.

Radio host: @Lee

Thank you for joining in to the fourth and last session of Radio. This week, I asked two general questions — about societal issues and to gauge a general interest of user music preferences.

The first of the two questions asked:

Quote

Every day in the world, different things are happening. Much like the movie itself which touches on different themes of social identity, is there a particular issue relevant to you or someone else that you have given attention towards or observed closely?

Just over the past week we had the R U OK? day, which simply is a day where you go up to someone and ask them if they are "ok" in coping with the demands of life.

Often the topic pops up now and again because of the nature of the work with which I am involved. I am often encouraged to take breaks when such a situation, such as mental fatigue or burnout happens. And so I usually consider myself to be fairly fortunate, or at least one of the lucky ones. When I think about my own situation, it reminds me of the fact that there are many other people who may or may not be working who don't receive this encouragement.

So yeah, the conversation around mental health is still particularly pertinent.

Just only last week, I think the main news outlet was talking about the impact of unhealthy diets, some of which have affected youth and increased their risk of developing eating disorders. I think it ties well into the theme of the "R U OK?" campaign. I think it's very common here to feel afraid to speak up for yourself, or believe that you're "alone" in dealing with your own struggles. For myself, I've also had to tell myself consciously to take breaks. So I think the campaign was helpful as well, just to remind me about taking care of my own needs as well.

Moving on, the second of the two questions:

Quote

Throughout the event, have there been any song(s) that have made their way into your music playlist(s)?

Since the event started I have been casually listening to K-pop. I checked out some new tracks (comebacks mainly) — some of them were quite nice! — and jumped between that and listening to older tracks, namely between KARA and Wonder Girls.

There's probably a lot more to this playlist that I could add, but I'd say keeping it to 10 tracks is good enough to me.

Thank you for joining in today's session. And for joining in to the other sessions as well!
