Which to be fair is a pretty bad show with terrible writing that Zendaya carries on her back and people watch as much to gif and joke about as because it's any good.

Sam Levinson only gets to make these things because his dad is very powerful and famous.

Help! Zendaya ain't good enough for that. Terribly overhyped actress. Always monotone in every role she has and lacks charisma. Euphoria is her best work because Sam Levinson wrote those special episodes dedicated to her that they submitted for the golden globes and her character is a depressed monotone lack of personality human being. There are other things that made Euphoria especially popular with GenZ, not her.

Is YG just not good at getting these girls acting jobs?? Because first they put Jisoo in that problematic Kdrama and now Jennie’s being slapped into this train wreck.

Honestly what she was thinking was obvious... Euphoria was very hot and one of her best friends is dating the producer/co-lead, so she was both getting a break into acting and doing a friend a solid to help promo the show, they probably hadn't even written the script when she was asked to do it.

She's very close to the twins Simi/Haze, I forget which one, but one of them dates The Weeknd who is the producer and one of the major/lead roles with Lily. It's his show really, he pitched the concept, he and Levinson came up with the plot, and he's a lead. I would guess that since he knows her through the twins he was the one who asked her to be on the show.

Simi's the one that's dating him. She's been at Cannes with him and she was at the after party dancing with Jennie and Lily.

i read somewhere that the original directing was done by some lady director but the weeknd didnt like that it being more female focused or sumn and wasnt enough about his character or his character looked bad. so they sacked ha and got..sam levinson 😐 dunno if thats true ofc but gives a bad look

and on euphoria...s2 is tragic. i wanna give sydney sweeney her flowers for good acting but the plot went way too batshit in s2 for me to love the show as i did s1. cassie was my fave character too, so when they just did full character assassination from what i heard bc of a rewrite after Z and jacob broke up iirc those are rumors ive heard. idk if its true.. like there was another character supposed to be that nate obsessed one, bit they rewrote it bc of cast drama. just rumors yeah so could not be true and sam could of had to planned to destroy cassie likability from d1. the other thing is how he wrote off kat bc of problems w her actress, who had problems with how he stereotypically wrote her character. etc etc. like from s1 even euphoria got a lot of sht for be overly sexualized which was valid but didnt bother me, but i was not super into that, tbf, beside sam writing kat character in s1, besdies being the 'fat friend'.. like sexual awakening okay but the online stuff with old guys...a choice. weird. but this stuff really was never really my enjoyment in euphoria, like i loved rue story bc powerful writing/acting. one postiive thign i'll say on sam is he does write that stuff well ig, having addiction exp. and rue/jules powerful, until ruined in finale, rebirthed in those 2 quarantine episodes, then destroyed and buried in s2 w that throuple/cheating plot what was that. but the whole mess of s2 convinces me sam is some weird ass guy being way too overly sexualized w these women. euphoria for having such a solid season 1 imo, will remembered as a dumpster fire. girl like euphoria has good cinematography but..its not really a 3 year gap between szn show like i-. other hbo example and one my fave show ever..westworld, for how super futuristic and stuff it is, always had 2 year gap.. RIP to that show i could of watched it for 10 szn but ratingds plummet after s2 so yeah.. euphoria not really striking as a 3 year gap show. sht, not even GOT was, at most was 2 years between penultimate and final season. gap between s1 and 2 allowed cuz covid, but it has to be some production nightmare that push s3 to 2025 if thats true ... and a bit off topic sorry. just ranting on sam ruining show i liked ig... i doubt this show will do any better..will prolly just be trashed from jump unlike euphoria who gained enough buzz for ppl to like a few characters and ofc, zendaya power.
