LE SSERAFIM’s live ‘UNFORGIVEN’ encore stage video on Show Champion today

1. Sakura really can’t sing

2. Seems like there’s no main vocal here, it’s like singing with friends at the karaoke room

3. Except for Sakura, I think they did well, I feel like Sakura doesn’t have any basic skills

4. Chaewon is doing so well

5. Eunchae did better than I thought, I think they did well

6. It’s better than yesterday, Chaewon did well

7. It’s much better than the previous video! I think it will be fine if Chaewon and Yunjin sing together

8. Chaewon and Eunchae are doing well

9. It seems that the standards of idols’ singing skills are also getting lower and lower in Korea….

10. Huh Yunjin is worse than I thought

11. Eunchae is better than I thought and Yunjin is worse than I thought

12. You guys are all critics, right?

13. I think Kazuha and Chaewon are doing the best

14. They are saying that Sakura’s skills have improved, but that’s not true

As soon as I read the title of this thread I mumbled an "oh lord". The encore wasn't as bad as they made it out to be, but there were some parts that made me cringe. I wish that vocals wouldn't be so over-processed on albums so that the audience can have more reasonable expectations when it comes to actual live performances. But...

Both "they didn't do badly but their vocals couldn't stand up against previous K-pop generations" can be true at the same time.

I thought this was fine? Idk why those commenters are making a huge deal out of this. Chaewon, eunchae and yunjin did rly well, Sakura wasnt great and I’m just not rly a fan of kazhuas voice but she did good on some parts and she needs work on the other parts

This exemplifies how pointless these netizens criticism and why we shouldn't take stock into them or give it more value/consideration than just normal forum post. No but i get it why netz opinion is shared but more at an @ the translators who translate the most nothing posts just cuz it negs a popular group.

Like every comment different. They did well or improving, they're all bad. All but chaewon bad,  yunjin is worst, yunjin and chaewon beat ,eunchae and chaewon best. Kazuha and chaewon.  Lemme slip in praise ro my ult, love the love for chaewon, she is an amazing singer.  And haven't seen this perf but my opinion wouldn't falter even if I do. And I haven't seen much h of them live stages but I think they're fine to good to great to chaewon. Like one knowledgeable netz said,  they're not critics. Tbh 99.99% of kpop fans that critique techniques, don't know knowledge on techniques. I don't on vocals so I stay hush on that.  And tbqh! As former dancer (grew up doing ballet and tap, not professional or competing tbh) I'd like to think I still know what I'm talking about if I was to talk about dancing. But the idea rn of watching idols I don't like (which h I assume lot of these comments are, esp the ones negging  sakura) to critique them and just be negative. I could not think of thing I wanna do less.  Like I never watch dancing idols and wanna bring out the vocabulary and explain why they suck. I'd only really do that in praising them,  or if there's a misunderstood, looks easy to plebs but takes massive skills to do right (ie krumping or waacking, I've seen idols who specialize in these disrespect ed so much bc avg kpop fans think it's only 'random 'erratic movement..no girl u could not be wronger) a bit off topic really but honestly pet peeve on stans barking about talents all the time in negative way like saying they can't sing etc  when it's just usually biased opinion spoken as truth. Like even if they can sing looking at things to hate about

first time watching their encore and I honestly think they were fine, sure they were off-pitch like in most of the song, but that's because they most likely can't hear themselves (they don't have an earpiece), Kazuha was the only one who was objectively bad, and Sakura didn't even sing lol, but they were overall ok imo.
