[enter-talk] SEVENTEEN'S FANS THROWING THOUSANDS OF ALBUMS

AVvXsEgSRVvh956MLKMv3xL4iJxRwvEJdwjhQsme
Paraphrased: OP complaining about people throwing albums in front of her company. The albums have no photocards/bookmarks, only the photobook left. OP tells them to not do that. It sheds a bad image of Carats.

Paraphrased: 31 albums were left without photocards just like that. It wasn't even a "distribution/sharing" event (T/n: where fans would distribute goods to other fans) it was just left there. This is unmannerly, go take them back.

Paraphrased: 20 albums were just left by the owner. I took care of them because it was going to rain. If you're gonna throw them away, at least don't be unmannerly, please contact me!

What's the point of selling a lot of albums if you're going to do this in the end.. That's why we should start counting 1 album per person.. After this, it should be your own choice if you want to buy more albums

I know I'll have people try to come at me for saying this but...Why are people talking about "this isn't only Seventeen's issue, all idol fans do it"? ㅋㅋㅋ this doesn't mean it's not an issue..?? And I personally think that it's laughable that people are telling them to take down these posts when they're uploaded by others, it's not like removingt hese posts would make the issue disappear, it'll keep appearingㅋㅋㅋ

They give a pass to BTS, but they're calling Seventeen a scam

We should change the rules. We should stop photocards, and remove the fan calls/fan events and just stick to 1 version. The issue is that person who buys the album should go in a database of that specific store, but wouldn't be registered in the database of another store, so they can just do it again and again. And they should keep albums only purchased within Korea to go in the Korean charts. There are so many people buying albums from overseas but it's registered as a Korean purchase

The person who owns these albums should bet he one apologizing, why are people asking OP to apologize? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The person who throw these should apologize;; you guys are doing so much just to shut others' mouths up

They have 18 versions of an afforable album, 899 photocards, fansigns in 3 countries + fan calls that are like a lottery system. And the albums are either dumped in the streets or in overseas' warehouses. Seventeen's records are a scamㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

This is AKB/48G levels of waste.

Not that this was questioned at any point, but here's solid proof that album sales have become just as useless as streaming numbers to prove a group's popularity. Any fandom that does bulk buying to inflate numbers or to just get extra swag should be called out and embarrassed. The companies doing this should get fined as well for encouraging such behavior.

Somebody should make an island with the amount of kpop albums that go to waste.

The important part is how proud the fans are...

Yikes that's the new album right, the comment section on pann is going crazy 😂

also, fans need to stop pretending that these numbers are really real when most of these popular groups' fans nowadays just bulk-buy albums, your money do whatever you want with but don't pretend bulk-buy doesn't happen, that's already just part of the kpop culture at this point.

yes, the one where they sold 4M...and who knows how many of those were trashed instantly after taking the PCs.

We all knew this was going to happen when the numbers came out. I wonder how the China bad ones are fairing as well. I think as fans, let’s respect the artists and let them have real numbers and success and not disrespect their work like this.

That's just sad, as someone that has been in kpop since 2009 and i don't even have a kpop album from one of my fav because of money issues and where i used to live (on an island in the Caribbean) I remember when I was younger and really into kpop how badly I wanted a Beast fiction and fact album but that was just never possible because of circumstances,  😂I bought a bootleg poster of Beast when i went to Florida for the first time and saw a mini shop that sold some kpop stuff and that's the only kpop merch that I ever had.  this is just sad how they just get what they want and then just throw them all out.

so that's how they reached 4 million sales........ i feel like fans and companies demand endless growth in sale numbers but unless your fandom is growing on that kind of rate - impossible, esp with the fact that most kpop groups peak after a few years as they age and fans flock to younger groups/lose interest in kpop - it's unsustainable. what's wrong with just selling a similar but respectable number each time?

of course, this is just a wider problem with capitalism than with just kpop where everything must also go up, up, up.

why would you clown me for pointing out that kpop companies themselves demand constant growth in sales numbers
