But what can I expect if in the last years (especially with 4th generation but it seems that maybe it had started with the 3rd), they care more about having hard choreographies than good vocals bc they know that is easier to teach anyone to dance than actually sing decently

i miss 2nd generation's choreography. they was catchy and not that hard and that permitted the idols to be able to sing

 

tho this is not excusable bc that dude was barely even dancing and he vocally sucks

His voice began deteriorating after 2017. His lines on BE album were already hard to listen to. I just can't understand one thing. Jungkook said in 2017 that 'When me and Taehyung have vocal lessons, Jimin comes and asks if he can watch. He's not in a position where he can take vocal lessons.' On the same year Jimin said he's never had vocal lessons. But why??? And like last year a vocal coach said Jungkook and Suga worked with him on their vocals. So if they can hire someone outside.. why can't Jimin do the same?

Tbh i was kinda shocked because I've hear snips of bts tracks and he sounds fine? even in some music show stages (idk if those really are live tho) This time tho, even the MV voice was awful so I do think he might be doing on purpose. For what? idrk... I just dont really like the voice in this track

Tbh I used to to feel bad for him because he seemed to have a lack of confidence in his vocals and Big Hit never really gave him the proper support he needed. But he has the money and the resources to seek help on his own by this point.

i just saw on a allkpop article that he/his label cancelled his live appearance on 'Inkigayo' and worse than that "As a result of the debates, Mnet has since deleted Jimin's encore stage video from YouTube."

i am pretty sure when other idols got bashed for poor singing abilities no one deleted their official videos so why everyone is protecting him instead of let him suffer the consequences of clearly didn't trained as much?

yes, it is embarrassing that a idol that debuted 10 years ago (i think) have a vocal that it is at the same level as trainees that was eliminated from "boys planet" but i hoped that this would made him understand that he needs to practice harder with a vocal coach. if everyone is shielding him, he will never learn from it.

clearly the fame has gone to the heads of certain bts members. they think that can get away with anything bc the company and the fans are there to swipe everything under the rug

I just wanna remind people that Jaejoong was tone deaf lol and during Xia's puberty phase he also faced issues with his vocals... I believe he had to start over from ground 0... let that sink in.. nothing is impossible you just have to want it and go after it full on.

Trying to delete videos and hide up his short fallings ain't gonna help. You need this type of criticism that can be used as a driving force. Hopefully it makes Jimin trainee level hungry again and knocks him out of complacency

how much worse could it be? lmfaoo. i don't think he hit a single note correctly. it's not a shocker, but it's a shame. i think he had potential, if only he got proper training. i still looooove Serendipity, his voice on that song is so pretty. i think he's best at that soft, breathy type of singing. just like jungkook.
