Shinoda published a joint statement with her ex-husband, Takahashi Yuta and wrote, “This time, I apologize for causing a commotion with the couple.I would like to report that the couple’s problems have been resolved safely.” Regarding her future parenting, “From now on, as our daughter’s father and mother, we will work together to raise my daughter”. Some weekly magazines reported on Shinoda’s alleged affair, which Shinoda denied completely, but Takahashi said, “I decided to believe Mariko’s words regarding this matter. We would appreciate it if you could refrain from reporting on our family’s personal issues in the future”. In the post, Shinoda wrote, “At this time, I am very sorry to have caused you all to worry about the relationship between us, but we have agreed to divorce through discussions, and the problem between the couple has been resolved successfully. I will report what I have done here,” and reported the divorce again. She said, “I apologize for causing trouble and concern to many people, but I would appreciate it if you could watch over me warmly.
