Glad she apologized but her apology was incredibly short and blunt. Like others said, WW2 was a WORLD WIDE issue that affected millions and millions of people, this isn't some niche topic that goes relatively undiscussed. Especially considering other idols have gotten in trouble / faced backlash for wearing swastikas and even wearing clothing that resembles nazi uniforms. I find it incredibly hard to believe she didn't recognize a swastika, like come on now. Use your fucking brain !!

Someone on reddit commented that learning about nazi and swastika's are a very small part of the curriculum and that we shouldn't expect kpop idols to know about western & european history and I just wanna say that its so fucking bullshit that fans expect every idol (even foreigners) to know a LOT about korean history. even attempting to cancel them and perform character assassination on them when someone disregards or makes errors with korean history, yet we shouldn't expect idols to know some basic information about western & european history? Twice is actively trying to make some english songs, tour in the west and worldwide etc. This is basic shit and fans shouldn't baby idols.

i don't think she's a nazi (i mean, we don't know, but like god i'd hope not), and i agree that she probably wore it to be edgy and 'punk'. i don't believe the tilted swastika excuse, she probably just thought it wasn't that deep and her/chaeyoung used that reasoning in the apology because it makes her look less bad

In other pics she was wearing some sort of jacket or cardigan that hid it pretty well
