History

Tekken (Japanese: é‰„拳^?, "Iron Fist") is a fighting game franchise created, developed and published by Namco (later Namco Bandai Games). Beginning with the original Tekken in 1994, the series has received several sequels as well as updates and spin-off titles. The series has also been adapted into three films and other media. The series' official English name is always written in all-capital letters (TEKKEN, abbreviated to TK).

The story in each game in the main series documents the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, hosted by the Mishima Zaibatsu corporation. The prize is typically control of the company, which then allows the winner to host the following tournament.

Wa hey! I LOVE Tekken, cannot WAIT for Tekken 7.

 

I hope they abolish that god awful scenario campaign and bring back good old story mode in the next game, with those awesome intros and epilogues and mid-game conversations, I loved that about Tekken 4/5

 

They could prob have something like the scenario campaign as, like, a side-thing like it was in Tekken 4/5.

 

I guess, what I'm trying to say is, from my completely non-competitive, casual stand point I liked Tekken 4/5 more than Tekken 6.

 

My favs are Christie and Xaioyu and Lili and Anna and Jaycee <3

 

Also, I hope Jaycee is added in the next game! IDC if it's Julia or the girl who was originally Jaycee, I playing her much more than regular Julia and even Julia just acts more fun in that costume.

My favorite character is Ling Xiaoyu as well.   I also preferred Tekken 5 over Tekken 6. Julia Chang isn't bad, but I prefer using Michelle Chang more.

Played this game when I was younger. Fell in love with it. I can't wait to see Tekken 7. :D I wish that the mall in our didn't get rid of the arcade. I'd be playing Tekken there if I would go outside once in a while.

Julia's a bit slow, so that's why I don't play with her often.

she is my forever favourite ever since I was a little girl playing T2 at my friends house since I couldn't afford my own playstation back then.

 

When she wasn't in the others I moved on to Nina, I used to kick everyone's butt with them both, it was pretty funny

Most of the time I play with Ling Xiaoyu, but Jun Kazama is becoming one of my favorites as well. I hope she appears in the upcoming game (Even though it might not happen, there's nothing wrong with having a little bit of hope).

I heard Jun Kazama was one of the most popular ppl in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, so there's hope \O/

 

Plus, she was never confirmed as dead, so it's possible~

Same here, I don't really like slow characters. But wasn't Jun kind of Unknown in TT2 (But then again, that's non-canon)?

it was never confirmed though she always started fighting like her, Unknown should have been in the story too, I liked her as a boss, I think it was a waste of a story in general. Still Tag Tournament is one of my faves since you get everyone under sun to play with in teams

I really liked Unknown in TT2, as well as her panels. But it was a waste of a story overall.

and it WAS a waste of a story, Unknown was HANDS DOWN the coolest boss in the Tekken Franchise, much better than those bulky take-over-half-the-screen monsters you usually go up against, she look cool and mysterious

lol, in TTT I thought she kind of was =X lol, I could never beat her.

 

But in the second one yeah, she was much easier, but I still suck at this game so I have to send the difficulty down to easy everytime OTL

my fav female was tekken xiaoyu- bad ass.
