It's just an OST, releasing the same day as their English single, which is pretty disappointing. To be fair, JYPE never hyped this up, but I know people have been looking forward to it ever since it was first leaked, thinking it would be a proper sub-unit debut. They already had a lot on their plate with the English single and Korean comeback, so it's not actually that surprising, but I think their first release being an OST is potentially going to kill much of the hype for a proper debut.

Japan isn't like South Korea where they have random OST songs. It is not unusual for songs for an artist to be attached to a drama, movie, to commercial long before it's set for a physical release either as the main track or a b-side. This song is likely being used to put them out there and will appear as a b-side to their proper debut single following TWICE's comeback.
