Maybe this is a dumb question but...why does Loen/1theK never upload YG,SM or JYP videos?

No, Loen only uploads videos of companies that are subsidies of their own company. This is why a lot of small companies are partnered with them, because it stabilizes their business.

Loen also has its own agency. Those include idols like IU and History.

Loen capitalizes off of the music videos. Many companies have their own channel for extras, behind the scenes, and other miscellaneous stuff.

At least they nabbed Starship, the trophy wife.

aah okay makes sense.Thanks :)

Idk, but I do remember reading that Loen had supposedly had stock in JYPE or something to that effect and sold it late last year/early this year. But yeah, other than a few JYP artists taking part in Loen's videos, I don't think they've really uploaded any of their mvs.

Also, if you go on ITunes, songs distributed by LOEN will say "under license by LOEN Ent.", but not ones by KT. So maybe LOEN's contract is different than KT's.

I think its because Loen actually partners up with the smaller companies to distribute their music.. where as KT just distributes *Don't quote me on this I'm not 100% sure*

Really? interesting.KT music has a youtube channel and I don't see any SM, YG, or JYP artist on it.

From what I know,KT KMP holdings distributes Music from JYPE,i don't really know about SM or JYPE,whereas LOEN had some shares in JYPE,And they did play a small role in Video distribution and stuff like that, afaik, but they were sold all their remaining shares after the merger. So LOEN has no relation with JYPE no whatsoever.Idk about SM or YGE.*hope I'm explaining correctly.*

Edit: whoops it actually KMP holdings..sawwy
