I mean, I'm sure each of the boys can carry a line here and there in their songs, but they don't have a Taeil/Doyoung/Jaehyun, Chenle/Haechan/Renjun, or Xiaojun/Kun/Ten. At the end of the day, Kpop is still about the music, but we're left with a group that has nobody to really carry the group musically... and if SM is serious about making this a Japanese unit, they'll probably need a Japanese main vocalist to nail the pronounciation in their music. This is all just my own personal theory though...

I agree, and now I am worried about Yuta to be promoted as a leader of this weird new group. I am afraid he will be separated from the rest of NCT just like happened with Ten, which will be sad. While I sincerely wish he could get more chances to showcase his vocals and many talents, I don't know how this will go and it's stressing me out a little
