Pentagon's Hui will be appearing on Mnet's 'Boys Planet' as a contestant. 

According to an exclusive media report on December 19th KST, the Pentagon member is currently filming the idol audition program 'Boys Planet' as one of the contestants. 'Boys Planet' is a male version sequel of 'Girls Planet 999', which introduced the girl group Kep1er. 

'Boys Planet' selected 98 contestants and they began filming the show earlier this month. The show is aiming to broadcast sometime in February of 2023.

He’d better be on there as a mentor/producer. It’s the only thing that makes sense. They should be learning off of him; he’s so damn talented. I swear to god if Cube are trying anything funny…

Hopefully at least if he is on as a non-contestant it will bring more attention to himself and Pentagon.

ngl i am odd pentagon fan that idm if this is like dooming news for them bc i been anticipating their eventual leaving cube, and prolly just doing solo work. bc they all can write good songs, half of them can produce... and they deserve to be out of such a shitty company in cube. unfortunate bc theyre great together too, but just dont trust cube with how much theyve messed up with their artists tbh. beside that, yeah i agree in other points that it would be ridiculous for hui to competing on a survival show when he was producer for original songs on these shows in the past  hope its not true bc itd inclne me to watch even if im not even on loop on most kpop things anymore...no energy for a show but i would for hui...so hopefully i wont be inclined .. i dont hate the shows but 0 energy for it from me. as mentor or producr he would make sense tho.
