Photos of former Lovelyz member Baby Soul raise serious concerns about her health

I'm out of kpop and only read OH occasionally....but why is this happening so frequently now?? There's so many idols that are coming out as dangerously skinny recently and it's so sad. Like, I can't imagine how thin they are in real life....why aren't their companies taking care of their health 😞 It seems like they have no one looking out for them

On SMTM some of  the comments were ruthless. They went off on her asking why she didn't lose that much weight when she was in Lovelyz. Seeing her now just reminded me of them. I hope she gets better.

It’s really worrying that this is the new “trend” so to speak. I was really glad that ano/ heroin chic had died down and to see it re-emerging in kpop is really sad, especially with how how rigorous the idols lives are and how influential these idols are on young girls and boys.

Plus pre-pandemic it seemed like the companies were promoting healthier eating / lifestyles for the idols. I know most of it was lip service but it was at least a step in the right direction but now they’ve regressed again.

Yeah, that diet she was on was too much. Which she admitted to. Hope it's just that and not any health problems that cause rapid weight loss. Hopefully, she can gain some weight back. And those people who bothered her about her weight to begin with can go to hell.

it's even more worrying when i see twt accounts that are pro-anorexia/eating disorders and see A LOT of them slamming hollywood for allowing "diversity" of body shapes and have now gone on to begin stanning kpop idols because that fits their ideal body type.

That's so crazy how much the trends have shifted since I last followed kpop in like 2018 lol. Idols back then would get criticized for being underweight and they were nowhere near this extreme 😞

Breaks my heart and makes me feel like kpop will never change
