According to an industry insider on December 7, BlockBerry Creativehas begun planning girl group LOONA's comeback in January, 2023.

One exclusive media outlet report on this day claimed that LOONA will be making a comeback with 10-members on January 3, signaling the group's first comeback since Chuu's removal from the group in November. Currently, it's unclear why the girl group will be returning with a 10-member lineup, rather than 11.

Previously on November 25, BlockBerry Creative announced member Chuu's removal from LOONA based on her alleged "abuse of power" over certain staff. Then, on November 28, the agency stepped up to deny media outlet reports claiming that 9 other members of LOONA had requested to terminate their exclusive contracts.

Stay tuned for updates.

Regardless of what happens, this group is not renewing when the time comes, so they’re gonna squeeze what they have left out of them before the ship sinks.

I wonder who the member not promoting would be? Anyways it would be very interesting to see how this turns out. I can't imagine the girls would be very happy having to do prep for a comeback during this time when the Chuu situation is going on. Poor girls & FUCK BBC!

Loona is going to be 1 member, as one of the 2 members not in the alleged 9 member lawsuit is from overseas. I'm thinking she will be overseas permanently.

You know this would be the first time I would be okay with a group giving nothing on stage. BBC did this to themselves. All they had to do was treat them with dignity and respect and they couldn't even do that.

Would love for them to give this same energy

It might be actually worth it to see an actual group in revolt during performances, backstage, vlogs. The last group I can remember doing that is Stellar in their final comeback. If BBC makes the Loona members contractually do a comeback, it's going to be some....entertainment to say the least.
