The year kicked off the super group MAMADOL

Spring brought us a 2NE1 reunion at Coachella

SNSD came back in the summer

Rolling into Autumn we got Exid

Last but not least KARA is helping us end the year

Honorable Mention: Brave Girls

What was your favorite grown woman moment of the year? What do you hope for grown women in Kpop for 2023?

My 2nd gen heart is so happy with these reunions too! Would love a Sistar and 2NE1 album, but I’m happy to see a reunion still. Tara and After School reunited last year, and Rainbow does all the time, so I’m waiting for Wonder Girls now. They seem like the last reasonable one to reunite for a performance (I doubt we’ll ever see fx, Miss A, 4 Minute, Secret, AOA, or Girls Day reunite to perform).

At this point, I feel Girl's Day are just happy enough to grab a meal with each other on the date of their debut anniversary. I also don't think they are planning to make a comeback as a group anytime soon.

I don't know if Dal Shabet will reunite next year, but I think it might be nice if we also get new music from them.

Dal Shabet did reunite in 2019 so I guess it’s possible. For groups that weren’t as popular it feels much harder to put out new music (though Rainbow did) so I’m happy if they reunite at least.

People said Yura definitely wouldn’t do music again for Girls Day but not sure why.

i feel like most of them are done with the idol world...

Sun-ye said that she was open to having a Wonder Girls reunion.

I feel they would release something for fans on their 20th anniversary, because many (older) groups did that, such as g.o.d and FIN.K.L.
