According to an exclusive media outlet report on November 28, singer/actor Rain has decided to hand over his ownership of the boy group Ciipher to another management company.

Originally, Ciipher debuted under Rain Company in March of 2021, garnering attention as the 4-th generation K-Pop boy group produced by Rain. However, approximately a year and 8 months after the group's debut, Rain has come to the conclusion that Ciipher should be managed by more expert hands.

Rain will continue to work closely with Ciipher as the group's producer, devoting his affection.

Meanwhile, Rain's wife Kim Tae Hee also made a surprise appearance in Ciipher's "I Like You" debut MV in March of last year.

"Rain will continue to work closely with Ciipher as the group's producer, devoting his affection."

literally same thing they said about rain when he worked with mblaq, lmao. a mess. he should just focus on himself. he clearly just wants his groups to be a success instantly as opposed to putting in effort in marketing them. won't be surprised if he does a girl group next when he realizes that boy groups rarely click with the public anymore.

He also gave up on mblaq didn’t he

Yep. I mean he should stop producing groups if he's going to abandon them for "more expert hands".

Everyone talking about MBLAQ but there was also Uni.T and UNB.  He was hyping himself up like he would elevate them to stardom but then he did literally NOTHING to promote them.  Not even an instagram post like "check out UNB's debut"

he has denied this....but i wouldn't be shocked if Ciipher quietly folds at some point. they have 1 singular comeback a year that makes no noise, don't seem to do anything outside of that 1 comeback, they're getting surpassed by other 4th gen rookies and don't have a "niche".
