This post is slightly different from the one in the sign-ups thread. I’m happy to answer any additional questions here or by PM. Requirements for participation - Must be in the gameplay thread for the entire duration of the game. Even if you are not actively posting, please keep up with the thread. (Length is variable, but max is set at 4 hrs) - Please be in the gameplay thread by 4:50 PM (EST) / 1:50 (PST). Because this game is short and has less players, a good game can only happen if everyone is present and responsive. I WILL start pulling people from the waiting list if you aren't there by 4:55 PM, unless you notify me in advance. - Players must not be signed in anonymously - Players must not break any of the game rules listed below If a player does not adhere to these requirements, I WILL replace them with someone from the waiting list. This is a stricter commitment than other forum mafia games, but please understand that it is for everyone’s enjoyment of the game, and out of consideration to all participating players. If for some reason, you can no longer meet the above requirements, please PM me as soon as possible. GAME RULES 1) Players cannot reveal their identity. They can say whatever they want in the thread, but under no circumstances can they show players the PM containing their identity. 2) Under no circumstances are players allowed to communicate privately outside of the game thread 3) Players must play loyally to their team. As an extension of this rule, good guys must always choose to pass missions. Failing a mission as a good guy only serves to help the bad guys. 4) And again, all players must be present for the duration of the game, and they must not be signed in anonymously. Game summary Full explanation of the game can be found here. - 10 players: 6 good, 4 bad - Good guys win by passing 3/5 missions. Bad guys win by failing 3/5 missions, and have a second chance at winning if they can correctly identify Merlin at the end of the game. It is advantageous for all good players to stay silent at this point so that no helpful information is leaked. - Missions can only pass if all players on the mission choose to pass. One fail results in mission failure with the exception of mission 4* which needs 2 fails for the mission to fail. - Good players MUST pass their missions, because a failure will always be disadvantageous for their team. Bad players can choose to either pass or fail the mission depending on their strategy.
