OMEGA X allegedly seen being physically & verbally assaulted by company staff following concert, company says they’re unable to get in contact

Following the conclusion of their world tour yesterday, everything seemed normal in OMEGA X’s world as the group celebrated things on Twitter.

Unfortunately, soon after a fan emerged with allegations that they caught the group’s CEO physically and verbally assaulting the group, and gave their account, “Guys, I was waiting for the Uber that I called outside and I saw the company CEO hitting the members. I really didn’t know what to do since my hands were shaking so much. They were being hit right in front of me but I couldn’t do anything.“

The one thing I found odd was that in addition to this tweet, the media reports on this seem to identity the perpetrator as the CEO, who is a man, but in the voice recording it sounds like a woman. Hence, I chalked it up to company staff or maybe a manager instead of the CEO. Regardless, if this is them being talked to, it’s incredibly fucked up.

Additionally, from over three weeks ago, another person came forward about OMEGA X being yelled at in public.

That sounds like an absolute nightmare and the fact that there’s other confirmation of this just makes it seem worse, not only because it adds to the likelihood that this is true but also because it sounds like just a regular thing.

When Spire Entertainment was contacted for comment, Spire said that they are unable to connect with them since they’re in the United States.

They are still in the United States so we are unable to get into contact with them. We will make our position clear as soon as we can confirm the situation.

As if phones and the Internet don’t work or something. It’s much more likely that they need time to prepare a response.

Either way, hopefully OMEGA X find a way to escape these conditions, though they might be less likely to risk it since this is their second chance group for most of them and perhaps the company is taking advantage of that.

I truly hope that employee is fired but I'm worried the whole company is rotted and using the fact that they're desperate against them. They don't deserve this at all.

Physical and verbal abuse is pretty common in the Korean work environment, not surprised about the mistreatment.

Sadly, calling them out won't change anything. The company just sees them as property to make them money, especially in their situation, where a lot of them come from failed groups, which means they have less will to fight back.

Small kpop companies are just really horrible, because at least in the big ones you get to make money and are able to gather some decent following, while in the small ones you will be lucky to even be able to pay your debt back.

if they feel this comfortable abusing them in public then I fear for the worst for what happens in private. Poor boys, I hope they can get out of this situation ASAP and anyone involved gets fired and faces legal consequences
