Rumor: GWSN’s company (The Wave Music) is “gone” and closed

Replies are saying this has been the case for a year, and isn’t as catastrophic as it sounds

Tbh it's not surprising  though sad. I think their official Twitter account hasn't been updated in months and it's long been said that none of the staff or producers were even getting paid. It's a shame because GWSN has such great music . Unless they somehow get transfered to an actual functioning company, it seems like this could be the end for then:(

we’ve gotten 0 updates since their anniversary back in September so this makes sense. I pray they don’t disband and get sent to a better company this time around, it was bad for them under Wave

anyways, they've shifted company a few times so hopefully they get bought over by another company and can continue to exist. their music is very good.

A bit of an update. 

Swin Lee clarified that GWSN does exist and from the sounds of this tweet, the girls could be switching to a new company here soon?

Well I hope this is accurate and Swin Lee continues with them, its rare for a small company group to have their own "sound" (Dreamcatcher, Pink Fantasy also come to mind) but GWSN does/did. 

Though honestly the issue with their company being all but defunct is the least surprising thing ever. Once their original producer left, and the company started changing names again and again (a bad sign unless you are Apink) the writing was on the wall.

I could be wrong, but I think their company having issues was the reason their original creative director left.  There's a small part of me that hopes if they are able to transfer to a different company, they won't completely  lose their sound and concept. But if Swin Lee is involved in trying to save them, I have a bit more faith than before.
