According to an exclusive media outlet report on October 13, the most iconic Halloween party in K-Pop is resuming as a full-fledged, in-person event in 2022!

This will mark the first time in approximately 4 years that SM Entertainment's infamous Halloween party resumes in full swing, after a partially remote showcase and photoshoot in 2021.

SM Entertainment's annual Halloween party first began as a small, private event for the company's artists and staff in 2012. However, the event soon began garnering public attention as artists brought out their most creative, over-the-top costumes for a chance to win the company's costume contest. The circulation of photos before, during, and after the event became a hot topic online up until 2018, when the SME chose not to hold the annual party in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, artists who win the 'Best Dresser' award at SM Entertainment's annual Halloween party have the honor of making a meaningful donation to charity in their name.

I expect Key to show up and destroy everyone. All of NCT will be there so I expect some top tier nonsense from them. I feel like a lot of senior idols won't come though....like maybe 1 EXO member at most (Suho lbr), nobody from SNSD, some Red Velvet members....and all of aespa ofc
