We confirm that the debut showcase for our upcoming artist B.O.T will be held on September 20, 2022.

 

The showcase, 360+5, will include a set list of 6 songs, including their debut single Match. The songs performed at the showcase are set to be included in their upcoming first mini album, which will be released at a later date. Individually, they represent the charismatic and unique charms for each of the members.

We are aware of rumors about our artist Yeounjun's instagram messages being leaked, we have investigated the case.

After checking the facts we have found out Yeonjun does not know the password of the account as it's run for promotional purposes by our company's staff.

We have found out the manager in charge of Yeonjun's instagram has been recently been on dates with @Shinki, Visual Director of Pathernon Creative and has had access to the artist's instagram and was trying to get the attention of male models.

We do not condone this kind of actions and we are planning to take actions if this goes any further.

The first mini album titled Boys on Top is available for streaming on music platforms starting today.

 

The album consists of 7 tracks, including the title track Power — it represents the journey of the five members. The tracks explore various music genres, and it highlights the boys' individual strengths. It was done in collaboration with leading music producers including Monotree, Tenzo, and more.

 

The group is also scheduled to promote this album by attending this week's broadcast for Music Bank.

Clio has unveiled their beauty pictorial showing the face of a popular boy group member for his first solo advertisement.

In the images that have been released, the model boasts a natural yet flawless complexion. The model, identified as Kim Woo Seok, is currently active as a member of the five-member boy group, B.O.T, who is under the management of SW Entertainment.

The industry reports that he is the first boy group member to represent the brand exclusively in Asia.

 

In a company statement released by the brand, CLIO responded:

 

We are proud and confident in our decision to recruit Kim Woo Seok as a beauty model for Clio. We have previously been in talks of wanting to do an advertisement with the model. The pictorial highlights his sheer beauty and youth.

Despite an intense schedule, he has demonstrated a willingness to commit. Staff and onlookers have also observed this professional capacity. With trust and belief, we believe Kim Woo Seok can represent our vision of the brand across Asia and in other competing overseas markets.

 

Kim Woo Seok is currently a member of B.O.T., who debuted on September 20, 2022. They held a successful debut showcase to promote tracks that were later released in their first mini album, and subsequently promoted the same release on the popular music TV show Music Bank.

Interviewer: It is our pleasure to interview the members of B.O.T. — a new boy group managed by SW Entertainment. They debuted on September 20, and have just released their first mini album, B.O.T. They have not only held a public showcase but also attended Music Bank to perform two stages for their fans. Are you curious about B.O.T.? Save your questions! It is now time for us to meet the members!

Thank you for coming today to this live interview. Please introduce yourself.

Woodz (leads greeting): 하나 둘, we are the future, 안녕하세요, B.O.T 입니다.

Interviewer: We're so excited to see you! Thanks for agreeing to participate in the interview! There are so many questions we want to ask you. But let's first talk about what happened on Music Bank.

We are aware that SW Entertainment releases public statements about your activities. In the statement, it was mentioned you intended to perform Clock and Power. But instead of Clock, we noticed it was Match, and from what I know, this was your pre-release. What was the reason for making this change?

Woodz: Firstly, thank you for giving us a warm welcome. Actually, we suggested making this change to our company. We wanted to gift our fans with a special stage of our performances, and so we considered our feelings, as well as theirs, before making this decision. Thankfully, our company listened to us, and they agreed to tell Music Bank about this change.

We also enjoy Match, and believe our fans would have enjoyed watching us perform it.

Interviewer: And we did! At least, I know I certainly did. The energy was incredible.

Woodz: Thank you.

Interviewer: Wooseok, I noticed you had a microphone problem. Could you tell us more about what happened?

Wooseok: Yes, I had a problem with my microphone. While I was dancing, it started to show signs that it was not working. It was hard moving around with it. I  noticed that my voice wasn't being projected. I imagine the audience would have had a hard time hearing me.

Interviewer: Yes, I could see you struggling with it. I heard it commonly happens on stage though. How were you able to get through it?

Wooseok: I continued to dance to the end. We have been trained to perform at our very best. Since we're professionals, we constantly remind ourselves that we don't want to disappoint our fans. Instead, we are motivated by the love they have for us, which keeps us moving.

Interviewer: Of course, that's always a good atittude to have — it shows how much you care about your fans.
Yohan, you also faced issues while on stage. You mentioned you forgot doing a step or two in the choreography?

Yohan: Yes, I can explain. So what happened was that I was dancing to a section of the song, and somehow I must've been feeling nervous and tripped up at one part of the choreography. I don't believe it was that noticeable since I recovered fairly quickly. Although, I'll be the first to admit that would have affected our presentation for the performance.

Since we're preparing our activities in earnest, I hope our fans can continue to cheer us on. I will take it upon myself to prepare harder to show fans a better version of myself.

Interviewer: Don't be too hard on yourself. You're already doing so well! It's a privilege to stand on stage. If it were me, I would cry and run off…

Anyway, moving on. I must say, the camera work for your performances were interesting.

(Interviewer notices Woodz and Wonhyuk nodding)

Tell us how you feel about that.

Woodz: Firstly, we want to express our gratitude to Music Bank for letting us perform on stage. The production crew treated us well during the rehearsal. We believe it was because of their efforts that it genuinely made us feel confident with our performances.

Wonhyuk: What happened on stage is unfortunate. Everything that happened has happened. But we are still thinking about how our performance really helped us to better connect with our fans, and for that, we will always feel thankful for having this opportunity.

Interviewer: Thank you.

Yeonjun, I almost forgot to ask about you. You've been praised for being charismatic on stage.
However, despite many fans were in attendance at Music Bank to watch your stage, the chants for you were quiet? Is there anything you'd like to say?

Yeonjun: I can't say that it didn't hurt [noticing it]. I gave it my all, and it is what it is.
I'm still feeling determined and, in future, will endeavour to show a better stage. It's only right for the members in the audience to see that.

Interviewer: I understand, it can be hard. After all, no one is truly able to know how the audience will react until the stage actually happens.
Thank you for being so generous with your responses! We're short on time, so I'll ask you one last question.
What do you think about winning? From what we know, your group name B.O.T. is short for Boys on Top. So, can we rightly assume that the idea of winning is important to you?

Woodz: Yes, we'd love to win. In fact, all of us do. Of course, no one likes to lose. Just like every team, we are competitive at heart, and like every other team, we also worked hard to get to where we wanted.

At the same time, winning isn't everything. It's been generous enough — to us, at least — to know that our fans are there for us, and that we can be together with them as part of our precious memory. We have a special relationship with them, and cannot possibly count the ways to which they have supported us.

This is not the end! Please continue to watch over us and anticipate our future performances and stages.
