Debut Single Title: Hopeful on a Reckless Night (HORN) | Silent Night - Dreamcatcher

For the debut single, we will follow the story of two of our protagonists, Xiaoting and Sunwoo, in their first night of transformation.  The night that started it all.

The story starts off with a blurry view of a gloomy city. We find a beautiful girl, Xiaoting, running past the blurred city light with tears in her eyes. It has been a chaotic night for her. Her boyfriend cheated on her with her step brother's dad (this backstory will be in the teasers not the mv). Her heart was beating fast and her mind was a whirlwind. Confused, she runs into an old, abandoned tunnel. There was nothing but pebbles and scattered traffic cones. She stumbles and falls, butt first, on a traffic cone. To her surprise a magic portal is revealed at the end of the tunnel. It was as if she could see a whole different Universe before her. Her eyes become sharper, clearer, and focused as she begins to feel a transformation unlike any other. She merges with the Universe before her, and in one magnificent display, the stars explode into a gigantic silhouette of an ilgaksu.

The story transitions into darkness. We are now in a deep, dark forest unlike the sparkly world before. A hooded figure appears before us, dimly lit by the moon light. He holds a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of soju in the other...seems to be a shady character. He was in pain as his boyfriend cheated on him with his (boyfriend's) son's step sister's mother (in teasers not mv).  Drunk and fidgeting, he stumbles on a rock and falls, butt first, on a pine cone. Unexpectedly, a vortex appears before him in heavenly speed. He sees a thundery new universe as a thick cloud of nebula shrouds him. His eyes become sharper, clearer, and focused as he begins to feel a transformation unlike any other. The nebula fades back into darkness and we see a silhouette of a dark creature screeching at the moon.

Dark rainbow unicorns have a rainbow mane like regular rainbow unicorns (RBU). However, they are often misunderstood as a hybrid between a Dark Rider and a RBU, and thought of as a danger. This isn't true, Dark Riders can only be created from a pegasus.

Dark RBU's are actually very lively and passionate like regular RBUs. But because of how people have perceived and avoided them over the years, they tend to travel solo (instead of packs with RBU) and maintain a bit of distance. They will often be found in wintry forests. When they are spotted, they will first be cautious of you. But if given the chance to warm up to them, they will begin to display their true rainbow nature.

Yes its an actual thing I didn't just make up. As opposed to the picture above, Hornchangers are dark unicorns. Some say, this kind of unicorn is the most powerful among the dark unicorns. This is because they can change into ANY kind of unicorn. They apparently look the same as a dark rider but when they start to change, no one knows. The good thing though, their intentions are not as malicious as a dark rider. You could say, they are just in it for the fun. And by living different unicorn lives, their characters also begin to change. At least, it was true for that one Hornchanger who fell in love with another kind.

You are a Malicorn

The bizarre and malicious cousins of Unicorns, it’s not entirely known what has made Malicorns into what they are. Some speculate they may be the result of a Helhest breeding with a Unicorn. Malicorns are known to be able to turn invisible, like many Phantom animals, due to their incredible speed. They don't only attack good creatures, they also ferocious towards other predators even if its another dark unicorn. Interestingly, while they may be needlessly malicious to adults, they are very rarely so to children unless the child in question is malicious first.
