The K-pop industry is fiercely competitive. Dozens of new groups debut each year, and only a select few gain recognition among the general public. You have the chance to debut the next monster rookie group right here on OneHallyu! 
 

 

You will create your very own entertainment company and debut your group. Your group will navigate the responsibilities of stardom as you participate in interviews, organize their debut showcase, comeback, and more all under the watchful eyes of netizens. But will your group have what it takes to become the next rookie of the year or will they fade into obscurity?

You may be wondering, how can only two people handle a huge, influential and incredibly famous company? Well don’t you worry, we have a handful of top-secret employees who will be revealed later on.

 

 

We present you with fifty extremely talented trainees all destined to hit it big. Just join one of our five teams and create your company before participating in our live trainee raffle to see which ones will be sent to your company.
 

 

After your trainees have arrived via Amazon Prime shipping, you can create your Company Thread. This thread will be where you post updates about your idol group and the members. Your company thread functions exactly as a normal artist thread does. The more you post in this thread/gain upvotes on the posts, the more points you can earn. 
 

 

After you’ve received your trainees, it’s time to plan their debut. What’s their concept and target audience? Your debut single can be any existing Korean song. You will need to create a visualizer for the song’s music video. This can be in any form, even just a collage.

 

 

After your trainees have debuted, they will be invited to do multiple interviews. This is a chance to promote your group and let the public get to know them more.
 

 

Next you will host your debut showcase. What’s the theme? Choose your outfits accordingly. Your group will perform their debut single, but what other songs will they cover?
 

 

Your group has established a name for themselves. It’s time for them to comeback with their first mini album. The mini album must consist of 5-8 songs. You must provide an existing song for each song on the album as well as a visualizer for the title track. Your mini album can include your debut single. Every mini album needs great cover art, so make sure to include that.
 

 

Finally, your group will hold a special performance on a music show to thank fans for supporting them through their debut. Make sure to plan the set and styling.
 

 

Every time a thread will be posted, we will link it here, so follow this thread in order to get the notification. Some Threads will be live-hosted (quick mini-games) like the Interviews. The rest of the activities are open for multiple days at a time.

Tasks Order:

Debut Single will open Tuesday 13th 05:00PM EST Time.
LIVE Thread: Interview#1 will open Saturday 17th 05:00PM EST Time . [Hosted by Moodz]
Debut Showcase will open Saturday 17th 06:00PM EST Time.
First Mini-Album will open Tuesday 21th 05:00PM EST Time.
LIVE Thread: Interview#2 will open Friday 23th 05:00PM EST Time. [Hosted by Bel]

 

Proh!ject Idol ending:

Music Bank will open Monday 26th 05:00PM EST Time.
Closing Event will open Monday 29th 05:00PM EST Time.

 

It’s possible to win up to 15 points on each task. Teams will be scored on the effort put into each task as well as the overall quality. Points will be counted at the end by the hosts and special judges. OH users will also get to vote for their favorite group, who will be awarded the title “Netizen Favorite”. The team with the most points wins the event. 

Company Thread activity will be counted towards the final score.

The entire event is sponsored by the Event Team, meaning that the winning team of each task will get a ticket for the Seasonal Raffle. 

The winning team of the event will get either a Group Stamp or Club for their Company as well as the MuBank Trophy Unique Item, as to show that their group won a music show!

A Special Prize will be given as well to the team who amass the most votes throughout the game.

Everyone who participates in the event will get 2 Platinum Tokens, as well as 100.000 won. Every User who voted in the popularity poll or played a game during the event will get a Special Surprise.

 

When you sign up, please tell us if you prefer to get BG, GG, Mixed, or no preference. As there is a limited number of idols to choose from, first comers will have priority. If too many people signed with GG trainees for example, it won’t be available anymore.

We will try to accommodate every user's preference as much as possible.

If you want to sign up in an already premade group of 3, you are allowed to! Just tell us the name of the users.

You will be then matched to other users with the same goal as you to create your own special Company!
