One of Japan’s most popular singers from the ’80s, Nakamori Akina surprised many when she announced that she is opening a new twitter and official website on August 30th. She announced she will be restarting activities.

Nakamori wrote, “I apologize for worrying you for such a long time. It’s only a little bit, but I’m feeling better, so I thought I’d write you a letter this time.

This year, 2022, will be 40 years since I made my debut. As it is the 40th anniversary of my debut, I have been facing my physical condition every day to do some kind of activity, but I still cannot say that I am in perfect physical condition.

I think it’s going to be slow, but I want to start walking, so I’d be happy if you could watch over me.

In addition, we would like to inform you that we have established a new personal office in preparation for the restart. In the future, we plan to send out information on the new website, akinanakamoriofficial.com.

Nakamori Akina has announced the establishment of her own management company HZ VILLAGE. 

Nakamori made this announcement via her Twitter account on August 30. She touched on her 40th debut anniversary and explained that this company was established in preparation of her comeback. 

"It will be slow, but I want to move forward. It would make me happy if you would please watch over me warmly," she expressed. 

Along with HZ VILLAGE, Nakamori has launched a new website. Details regarding her future activities will be published on this website as needed.
