i assume they will probably go there now that there are no restrictions anymore, especially since they might promote the song in US talk shows. as for why they have never performed/attended any of those shows before despite ice cream being nominated in some categories, i wonder if they were even invited in the first place. maybe the organizers thought one kpop act was enough bc if invited i doubt yg would decline the exposure. then again yg likes to sabotage their career so who knows

This will be the first time I'll tune into the VMA's in years, I'm really excited to see how they'll perform

I don't think I've ever seen the VMA's but I'm definitely hyped to see them perform so I'll probably end up watching them for the first time!

Does anyone still watch the VMAs? Or Mtv in general? I think them straying from their original purpose in favor of Gen Z reality programming was the worst decision ever, and it essentially left this show in limbo. If they're no longer a music channel dedicated to playing music videos, why bother watching their awards show dedicated to music & music videos? They'll probably try anything to boost ratings at this point.
