Did she lose her chance to star on variety shows and be Korea's new it girl forever? Will she be back on variety shows? I am highkey disapointed because her "scandal" wasn't really as much of a big deal. I can see her having a YouTube career again, and I feel like if she keeps up with English subs on her videos she might have a chance at some international fame? But unless everyone in Korea decided to forgive her I don’t see her having a big future there ever again. She got a lot of hate in Korea, but all of her international fans seemed to forgive/defend her so I feel like she has a higher chance of being an it girl internationally than in Korea. sawarin 681 Posted July 17, 2022 Share Posted July 17, 2022 i honestly don’t think she was even on the way to that status, maybe mid-level fashion influencer. she was more like a temporary trend with a popularity bubble that burst too quickly but i think she would’ve been put aside by the public in no time anyway. if anything, the scandal made her a little less forgettable for people.
