Few days ago something leaked about the title being called "Checkmate" by one of broadcast station & by the singer Bibi The first few concepts photos & films are very different than the last one Midzys are losing their mind because international people said the song was bad from the sneak peak & K-netz think it's good. And now they are trying to come up with all these theories. Also on the album, when fans are trying to order it. There are some notifications that comes up saying "perorder items is subject to change". Specifically the digital album. Itzy pulling a switcheroo of sorts wouldn't be too surprising but I am curious about the overall sound of the album. Maybe they already shot the checkmate album jacket aka the girls with crowns and just decided to go with it instead of reshooting everythng and pushing the comeback date further away. It happened with Stray kids' God menu too, they already prepared everything (MV concept, album concept etc) and they decided to change the title track last minute, which was their best idea ever bc GM shot them to stardom.
