June 30, 2002 is the day that Hello! Project mastermind Tsunku announced the winners of the Hello! Project Kids Audition on the variety show "Hello! Morning". Out of 27,958 girls that were auditioned, 15 were selected to be part of the group:

Chinami Tokunaga
Maasa Sudo
Miyabi Natsuyaki
Yurina Kumai
Maiha Ishimura
Saki Nakajima
Airi Suzuki

Mai Hagiwara

For a few years, they were mostly involved in training, appearing as back dancers in concerts and MV's, shuffle units, and cameos in movies until the idol groups Berryz Kobo and °C-ute were created in 2004 and 2005, respectively. The members who are currently in the public eye and/or still in entertainment gathered together to celebrate (L to R: Maasa Sudo, Miyabi Natsuyaki, Yurina Kumai, Saki Nakajima (on the TV monitor), Maimi Yajima, and Airi Suzuki).
 

I was hoping for a live performance but maybe that's saved for their 25th and they can have all of Berikyuu together!
