It still feels like they are a team with so much potential... Honestly, Red Flavor, Bad Boy and Psycho were so good... these are concepts that other female idols never tried + they had that unique Red Velvet vibe...

Red Flavor wasn't your typical obvious fruity summer song. It was really a song that felt like a fruity and juicy song.... Even now, when I reminisce about the summer, I listen to Red Flavor a lot....

 

I seriously like Bad Boy the most.... I really listen to it a lot during year end and do you guys remember it too?.... Don't you guys think of the Winter atmosphere when you listen to Red Velvet's songs?? I liked the song so much... seriously, it's a concept that only Red Velvet were able to do....

Seriously, they were at their peak during Psycho.... It was a song I listened to in the winter at year end but it seriously gave me a.... somewhat sad and end-of-the-year's lonely vibe....? But it also sounded majestic... it was seriously a legendary song and it was perfect for the winter and year end... it was so good.

Seriously, I hate SBS so much... If only it wasn't for Wendy's accident and Irene's scandal, Aespa wouldn't have debuted and they would've kept on pushing Red Velvet. Seriously, there are so many regrettable things... I hope that they keep pushing them and release good songs like Psycho in the future... Please.....

I was always with Red Velvet during my summers and winters but I feel like they disappeared now.... I still remember the winter of back then when I listen to Psycho or Bad Boy... I hope that they pick a good song for winter

Agree. Psycho seriously makes me feel nostalgic. Bad Boy and Feel My Rhythm are good too but I hope that they would do something like Psycho from time to timeㅜㅜㅜ

Aespa was supposed to debut in the first half of 2020 but because of internal issues, they got pushed back and only debuted in Novemberㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ do you guys think that they would debut a group randomly like that?

And when people stop with RV went hiatus because of Irend...like we forgetting what happened to Wendy? I think they did push back the comeback by a 2 - 3 months because of Irene.

tbh Irene is still lucky to be in the group.

SM do this all the time. When there is a big scandal, they cut their losses and start pouring all the money instead into the junior group. The same thing happened with RV too, when SNSD8's Tiffany had her flag scandal.

Uhh... did I miss something? Why is everyone talking like they're disappearing? They JUST had their best-selling release ever. No, they're not getting the same opportunities as Aespa, but SM probably reasons that they wouldn't be investing in their future if they focused mainly on an older group, which is sadly solid logic, even if I don't believe Aespa is deserving of being treated like their top girl group.

FMR did really well digitally (it would have PAKed if it was released at the same time as INVU) and it's the 2nd highest selling GG album on Hanteo.

RV"s coming back at least one more time this year (though people actually think they'll have another trilogy this year).

Aespa was going to debut regardless of what happened with Wendy and Irene.

I think OP might be feeling that way because of how massive the 4th generation girl groups have become. Still, RV is in a very comfortable place with good sales, love from the general public despite their most popular member getting into a big controversy and, most importantly, are still together releasing music.

Like I said before, Psycho was supposed to be their crowing glory, but SBS had to fuck it up.

SM kept going to that well with RV too, every time an SM scandal popped off, i expected a RV teaser to drop. 

Anyway, about Red Velvet's awesomeness,  i love how their concepts used to have a quirky and dark undertone which was refreshing and exciting.

"Had", "used", "regrettable" ?? In displeasure of some, RV is still very much active. It's weird how they just released music as a group this year (and TWO times at that) unlike Twice and BP yet people don't use the past tense when speaking of these groups.

And by God, I hope they'll come back at the end of the year with another velvet full album so that whiners can finally shut up about Bad Boy and Psycho.
