i read on twitter that these are the members of the group that are known to be the cutest so clearly they're going for a complete image do over which just seems like...... a lot

called it. these nugu companies with huge groups, it always happens.... I was intrigued by them because they have a decent 4th gen vocalist and strong performers, but there doesn't seem to be a point in following them when it feels like they're going to keep bleeding members and having poor business decisions until their 7th year.

ngl I won't be surprised to see them show up on Boys Planet 2022...WakeOne clearly has no idea what to do with this group and I feel bad for the members and their fans since it seems like they can't catch a break

have they left the agency?  isn't boys planet only going to be for individual trainees?  i feel like it'd be awkward to leave wakeone only to be managed by them again for the final survival group  i guess i wouldn't put it past wakeone to bend their own rules and include their own trainees, though

That’s true but they act like it! CJE&M has all of these paper companies that always seem to behave strangely, from MMO to OTR to Stone that eventually get rebranded or folded into each other. Yoon Jisung’s new company is just another CJE&M paper company as well. It’s all very sus.

the statement seems like they're staying with WakeOne but like you said, we can't put it past them to bend their own rules unfortunately and these members were pretty popular and well-liked from what I hear (esp Woongi)

iirc Idol School auditions were also for "individual trainees" but it later came out that (according to Lee Hae In) some of the girls skipped the audition process entirely and had signed contracts already prior to the show...if they do show up on Boys Planet, I can see this going a few different ways:

1) they do well and make it into the final group, later redebuting as soloists or something

2) they do well and gain even more popularity, but just miss the final group (either legit or Mnet being Mnet again *ahem* ), and "rejoin" TO1 (if this is the plan, I'm not sure why they don't just use a hiatus tbh?, but a similar situation happened in PD101 S1 where DIA members "left" the group just to "rejoin" after the show - they might have been a bit more upfront with their plan in their case but I still can't put this route past WakeOne with how they've been fumbling this group and playing with fans' emotions for ages now)

I don't really see why they would leave TO1 but stay with the company otherwise tbh - they don't seem to manage any actors or models, and I can't really see them redebuting as a trio or as soloists either in the near future because they can barely juggle the artists they have as it is (Jo Yuri and Kep1er are their only artists that seem to do much promoting these days, despite also housing a few male soloists, TO1, and Davichi) and like you said, they'll probably be managing the resulting group from BP too soon enough

....it's all incredibly messy but I think the messy management ship has already sailed here
