Ever since before debuting, they were already media playing and making fans spend tons of money on them but after debuting and revealing what they really looked like, they f*cking flopped. They're really from the big3?????

Most idols edit the shit out of their pictures this is nothing new, bunch of trash people trying bully these poor teenage girls.

Exactly. I don't get what is the point here 😶

And these photos aren't uploaded by JYPE, they didn't even post about the event. Every photo circulated are by fans & journalists.

Plus, these outfits are flicking bad. Anybody will look werid even if they have a good body wearing unflattering length & boots will definitely look short.

The comments I’ve seen aimed at Jiwoo are so vile.

I really hope the abuse doesn’t lead her to adopt unhealthy eating habits, but it really can’t be easy when all people want to talk about is your weight.

The first picture is heavily edited to make the girls body proportions look perfect. All the international fans commenting here about the supposed fat-shaming should raise their pitch forks against the companies then who edit these girls out to extremes to fit the Korean standard of beauty. The idols and the company themselves don't want to spread body positivity and accept how they look like in reality and would go to lengths to edit everything in their own pictures.

Can't blame the general public for merely pointing out how the edited version does not look like what they are in reality.

The girl on the left (Jiwoo) will be fat shamed for sure cz we all know how knetz think

She is hella talented. Praying for her

She already commented about indirectly before during one of their debut video. She said that she was jealous of other people who lost weight quickly & that she was working hard on "eating more healthy".

We all know what "eating more healthy" means in kpop.

pretty sure we can blame both the companies and these shitty knetz for upholding extreme standards and bashing everyone who doesn't fit them.

these comments aren't just "merely pointing" out anything, they're flat out insulting the girls, let's not pretend like knetz are caring about body positivity here, they just want to call girls ugly.

Why would random Knetz care about body positivity when the companies and idols themselves are editing the hell out of their bodies and faces to promote a fake beauty image cuz they surely don't look like that in real life as proven by other unedited pictures.

Celebrities are exposed to all the good and the bad comments they receive. If the companies and idols don't try hard to sell their perfect beauty image through heavily edited means we wouldn't be having this conversations. The FACT that these girls don't look like that irl is truly a scam for the people who came to like them for their edited pics cuz this is what they are trying to sell >> Do we care about visuals of celebs like Snoop Dogg or kendrick lamar or whatever other celebs why? Cuz they are selling their talent and not trying to create a fake image about their supposed visuals. If you don't have the visuals why flaunt it through edited means and then you question people who are rightfully pointing out that their real life visuals don't match up to the edited version. If jyp and these girls don't want to get bashed and insulted then they should stop promoting the fake beauty image and only focus on making music and giving good performances.

Knetz are the reason why companies are selling these images. So the issues does start with netizens. Companies are just trying to catering to Knetz expectations.

Kpop is first & foremost is about visuals. No idol in the generation can survive just by good music. Ridiculous! They having good performance & vocals, yet they're still being dragged. The girls are still beautiful anyway.

yeah, I mean it's always been true, but 4th gen has been pretty notable in that what are probably the most talented groups on average (particularly singing, and live singing) mostly being small company and less successful, and the big company groups selling mostly on image.

Blame JYP and the culture of kpop for pushing this disaster. Clearly those photos are manipulated to make those girls look thinner. The best talent is not important. It’s all about the best looking. Companies have to meet the Korean beauty standard at all cost. Instead of changing the culture, they just bend to it and propagate this mindset by doing stuff like this. As far as the comments go, they’re just despicable. What’s a commoner. Such warped minds.

They gave the girl on the left a whole new set of legs, which is sad because there's nothing wrong with the way her legs look to begin with!

The legs are not the issue, but these boxy cuts that just doesn't suit any of the girls' silhouettes. Even someone like Haewon, who's known for her flawless visuals, looks like her face was photoshopped into that outfit.

Ngl, here's another round of NMIXX's concept not fitting the girls, whether it is visually, or musically. So JYP has to warp their pictures to make it somewhat cohesive.

So you want them to fake their visuals with heavy editing at all cost to attract fans? It's the same as you ordering some dress online after seeing the pic but the original dress delivered is low quality and looks nothing like the pic that is shown to you. It's a scam. The girls are being marketed with unrealistic perfect figures and visuals when in reality they look nothing like that. So the general fans have the right to call out on that and the company + the idols themselves subjected to the hate they got from this.

If visuals are not their strong point why go to such lengths to sell a fake image. Also literally how many kpop idols are serving face like Irene? Eunwoo? V? Wonyoung? You making it seem like no idol with average visuals have found success lmao. As if zico, psy, heize, jessi, etc don't exist. The girls are average at best visually in the idol world and there is nothing wrong with it. But JYP editing them to extremes is just asking for hate. Also a fun fact, the reason why Seolhyun became sort of IT girl of 2nd generation was because her standee looked exactly like how she was in real life. No editing was needed. So yes this is a big deal for them.
