✽aya 998
Yes. I really liked metaphorical music best. It really depends on my mood.
MoreTokyo 1,008
Njujabes was such a master of his craft and delivered countless records that pushed various sound and were way ahead of their time. Metaphorical Music is probably my favorite full length that he released but Spiritual State left such a lasting impression on me and listen to the record pretty frequently. A few of my favorite tracks are Gone Are The Days, City Lights, Lady Brown and Beat Laments The World. Still miss him quite a bit and he left this earth way too soon. Ryusenkai 2,373
It was only fairly recently that I actually sat down and listened to all of his studio albums, but I've always had a lot of respect for Nujabes based on the few scattered tracks that I'd heard beforehand. I have a lot more now that I actually have. I love jazz, and mixing it with hip-hop actually creates some very interesting sounds that I've only seen a few artists explore. I can only think of one that's done anything close to what Nujabes did, and it really is a shame that he passed on so soon. My favorite album of his is probably Spiritual State, since whenever I listen to it, it just leaves me in this ... perfectly pensive, thoughtful state. Yiruma is considered one of the greatest composers to come out of Asia. If what I say is right, then Nujabe would be like the Yiruma of Japan with a Sentimental Scenery twist, though I've never heard of him.

He still sounds a lot like Sentimental Scenery to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcYAsI7jB64
