BLACKSWAN is complete once again.

As previously reported, out of the 4,000+ girls who auditioned for a spot in the girl group BLACKSWAN, Sriya from India and Gabi from Brazil were chosen as the top 2 who would battle it out in an intense six-month training period.

Although the original plan was for only one trainee to be chosen, on May 26, DR Music announced that both Sriya and Gabi would be joining the girl group. Now reformed as a 6-member group, BLACKSWAN will be preparing for their comeback. Sriya will be the first K-Pop Idol from India. Sriya's full name is Shreya Lenka, and her birthdate is September 15, 2003, and she stands at 170cm (5'7") tall. Gabi's full name is Gabriela Strassburger Dalcin and her birthdate is July 11, 2002, she stands at 172 cm (5'8") tall.

Congratulations to Sriya and Gabi!

Why are these girls wasting their time? 🥴

😞 they want to be idols, i know its 90% possibilities of flop and been mistreat but we can never know.

Brave girls were totally dead a year ago but look at them now! I mean, they are not totally nugus, we wouldn't be talking about them if they were that irrelevant

My english sucks and its exams week so sorry if i sounded weird, i reread it and feel something's off but i can't point what (?, i don't want to think... in any language

i always feel like these groups that have a billion line-ups and never seem to disband, have to be fronts for some kind of money-laundering or something. it just doesn't make sense that they're able to continue for 11 years otherwise.

These girls are absolutely gorgeous and I wish them luck, Fatou seems to have a decent sized fanbase on social medias and maybe this can propel them a bit further, I don't really have high hopes though due to the groups history.

So they'll just continue to be like RaNia then: constantly losing and adding members. Never change DR Music.

To be fair, it is the continuation of the rania rebranding

It's just time to stop, and it's clear that they got Alex as a publicity stunt, hence why after she left and after rebranding yet another time they got Fatou and now this, DR music is desperate out there

they are still trying with the rania 2.0?! 🤦‍♀️
jesus, where this company is getting money if their groups always flop? not even the fact that they use foreigners girls help them bc kpop stans dont care that much and i doubt that koreans care either (in fact the general public prefer being all koreans rather than having foreigners)
sorry to say but i think the girls are also a bit stupid and naive if they think that the group will get popular by now.

Spoiler

if i was interested in debuting, I wouldn't audition in small companies. you never know the dirty that goes there if the company dont sell well but is still plumping groups as if they are getting money out of them.

the problem of the group is not the lineup (well it also is in this case bc i remember that there is conflict with two foreigners members), the main problem is their music.
at least Rania had good music. i tried to listen Blackswan and so far i didnt like any.

They need to invest in the music, in the mvs and the concepts to attract fans, intened of investing in adding more multicultural girls to try to attract international fans that at most will get interested bc the girls are from their contry (like i see many brazilian kpop stans forcing themselves to like the group bc there is brazilians members on it)

edit: by saying that their problem is the music i am not saying that they will be the next big thing bc that depends a lot on the luck factor but more like having a fanbase that can sell decently and make the numbers grown in each comeback

just look at Dreamcatcher. they debut as MINX in 2014 and they had a basic/more of the same concept and songs and then Happy Face Ent decided to re-debut them in 2017 and add 2 members and created a unique concept and sound that we dont see in kpop and the group have a stable fanbase and recently they had their 1st win

I'm hoping they're just trying to get their foot in the door of the k-entertainment industry, Gabi in particular has the kind of visual that white models who are popular in korea have and being in a nugu group is a decent way to gain fans for an eventual modeling/acting career. For Sriya things will be harder in SK for obvious colorism reasons but she'd still gain access to a lot of international fans/followers the way Fatou did. So, from that perspective it makes sense as a jumping off point, but if they're naive enough to think the group itself will be a stable career I feel bad for them.

I wonder how a broke agency like DR Music can find pretty girls like this all the time. Like, Gabi apparently was a dancer for 1MILLION studio, it's hard to imagine no other agency wanted her.

 Well, she's not White Asian

It's hard to promote specially as idols look at all the people who have debuted being non white Asians, then mixed Asians and non Japanese/Chinese who had succeeded without a big 4 company behind them
