quite frankly i have no sympathy for drunk drivers.  especially a public figure like this...like girl don't you have ANYONE you can call for a ride?  staff, friends??  or a taxi service???  i guess it's fortunate no one was killed or injured due to her poor judgement, but jesus...how irresponsible and dangerous.

also...she was drunk at 8 AM???  that's...concerning, to say the least.

I read a translation of the Naver article, it's even worse than I expected. She crashed into a utility box and then she fled the scene. When she got caught she requested a blood test to try to get out of the situation.

So disappointed. I am a huge fan of hers but I can't and won't condome this. She could have killed someone or herself. And at that time, kids would would been going to school and people would have been using public transportation or just walking around. She's damm lucky no one was seriously hurt. And who the hell gets drunk that damm early???? Or was she drunk from the night before? Even so, does she not have ANYONE to look out for her? Girl just ruined her career for some cheap thrills. I will never understand why, in a country that has specific services to ensure people get home safely, people choose NOT to do the right thing.

The curse of child star seems to hit her. She failed of taking care of herself and made a huge mistake of driving under the influence. She even fled the scene and not being responsible. I'm really disappointed.

In Korea is the driver service. A drunk one may call the company to send a driver to drive her/him and his/her car home. Quite a number of service drivers are female.

What was she thinking? Kim Saeron was up there (and mentioned) with the likes of Kim Yoojung. Kim Sohyun and Jin Jihee as high-profile child actresses who made the transition to adult stars in Korean dramas. She was highly praised, had tons of celebrity friends (like Yeri, Somi, etc.) and each time she got a new role it was noted in the press/internet. Years as an A-list actress in the Korean entertainment world was right ahead of her.

And in an instant its probably all gone. At this point every celebrity in Korea must know how unforgiving the public is to drunk driving (with good reason!). It's pretty much the end of careers. And to do it when you are just starting yours? At 8am in the morning! And then flee the scene! Especially in a city where its easy to get a taxi/car service at any hour and has really good public transit. It makes no sense.
