Shipping is only possible in animes for me. I have no problem when others do so tho, except they're like real obsessed with it and getting annoying, interpreting even the tiniest actions as something more, which is really painful to watch. I don't think it's necessary to hide from them, just ignore them if you don't like them, or laugh when they're being dumb. They aren't contagious. I think. Pretty much this, i only ship fictional characters ^^^ I like how some idols look together, but i can't really imagine them as lovers. sometimes seeing too much shipping gets annoying; but as long as the fan doesn't put the idols in an awkward situation everything is ok. Ok, I did one half-assed ship in the AOA thread. It was only to try and bait in real shippers as a way to try to recruit new female fans. hallah 8,441 Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 i ship friendships, which makes it kind of awkward when i just want to look at pictures of cute people doing cute things and the thread is littered with sexual commentary. i admit there are a couple of idols i think would be adorable together, but i'm not invested in their personal, private relationships. IMO idols are products, so i don't take any of their interactions with others at face value. TBH it bothers me sometimes how much people get involved in an idol's relationships with others, because i think it's a private matter and part of what breeds anti-fans.
