That she was picked by those making the show because they heard her sing in High School Musical and wanted her after that. AoA as a group have really made an impact this comeback. It may not have won (beast was too good) but they have made a huge impact and certainly gained in popularity. Add in the acting opportunities coming up and they are really branching out.
