It's also funny how fans from other fandoms stopped supporting PSY now that he collaborated with Suga. They went from praising him to mocking him. They love token stanning. They pretend being fans of someone just to use it against BTS and when their "favorites" praise BTS or work with them, the love ends. I could feel a little bit of Agust D in Suga's rap. I'm thankful to PSY for forcing Yoongi to appear in the MV and dance. It's definitely one of my favorite Korean songs this year. Big Hit should wake up and let Suga produce BTS title tracks. You made it sound as if you witnessed me mocking PSY for years, criticising Gangnam Style and now caught me enjoying the song just because Suga was involved. That That is not meant to be a serious song, just like Gangnam Style wasn't, and no one is claiming that it is so I don't get your point?? The argument started when kpop fans claimed that PSY and kpop was treated seriously because of Gangnam Style. It never happened. I remember PSY himself said the song became an iconic meme, but also mentioned it overshadowed him and became something that restricted him/his image. If anyone says that Gangnam Style was treated seriously by those who have never heard Korean music before, he is lying. I listened to PSY's songs from time to time, checked out his new releases and That That is second best title after Gangnam Style (of course, this is my opinion). His songs are meant to be fun, Gangnam Style wasn't made with a purpose of showing how deep Korean music is. For many the song became a meme, there are articles mentioning it.
