How often do you upgrade/replace your phone?

I tend to keep mine for 5 years but now that I can write it off for taxes I might upgrade more often.

When it's broken - as in any slight trouble even if it's not serious.

about every 4 years or so...I take good care of my devices so they last ages but I'll upgrade when the battery life starts to suffer too much

Something like every 5 years, when the old device starts to be too slow or obsolete and I want something more recent

I used to get a new one every 2 years. Idk they just started dying around 1,5 half a year. The last one I got is 3 years old already and it's still doing fine. The battery could be better but otherwise it's fine.

True, I missed out on a lot of games because they didn't work properly on my iphone 7.  I'm excited to finally be able to play those graphically demanding games that take up 10GGB.

Every 3-4 years or more, I hate the whole process of transfering stuff to a new phone so I try to keep my phone for as long as possible.

I used to every two years but this one is holding up better than my other devices have so I am keeping it. Although my screen is a bit defect it's fine otherwise

Until my phone breaks or stops working for some reason. I replaced my last phone bc the screen was broken and I'll change my current one soon for the same reason
